They were so easy to work with and genuine and accommodating - it was a dream to work with them. From our signature cocktails (blood orange prosecco cocktails, fall spiced sangria, hot toddy) to our food (biscuits and sausage gravy, lobster grilled cheese, fried chicken and waffles, French toast soufflé, Greek orzo salad, seafood salad, apple cider doughnuts, mushroom pastry purses, pear gorgonzola stars, and more!) to the beautiful spice wedding cake - it was absolute perfection. “My Wife and I stopped by for a quick bite yesterday afternoon. We both ordered the double smashburger and shared a large fry order. The smashburger was excellent, well cooked and dressed with lettuce tomatoes pickles and sauce, very tasty. The fries order was a large and it truly was large. Not your regular run of the mill string fries. Large thick (almost Steak Fries) lightly salted and very tasty. Definitely will eat here again. BG“

“This was our first time experiencing High Tea and it was a wonderful place to stay. The ambiance was adorable and it was nice to see small children having a tea party with their family and adults indulging in something less common. Very nostalgic of childhood memories. We loved all the layers of food on our tower and we both loved our tea choices but wished for more flavor in the chicken sandwich. All in all we are so happy and I'd be happy to back to any of the locations!“

He was so easy to work with and incredibly helpful, guiding us to create the perfect menu and overall experience for our private event. “I used Basil Tree at work for a few small meetings then started using them for a larger weekly conference. The 2nd week everyone was telling me how much they love the sandwiches/wraps and cookies. Everyone we worked with was extremely helpful and professional throughout the entire process. They guided us through the daunting task of designing our menu and beverage program, as well as assisted in our furniture and linen rentals. We always felt like we were in good hands. The food was absolutely stunning! Capers has a wide variety of interesting menu options, far beyond your typical wedding dishes. We ended up going with BBQ, Asian, and fall seasonal stations, in addition to an assortment of fun appetizers, plus gourmet donuts for dessert. The food was unique, gorgeous, and most importantly, absolutely delicious! They were also able to make special accommodations for our guests with dietary restrictions, so everybody left with a full belly. Many guests told us that this was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. We definitely agree! For the bar, Capers was able to handle all of our special requests and provided a unique selection of craft beers, ciders, seltzers, as well as plenty of wine and liquor options. They did a great job of finding cool, local brands that gave the bar a much more upscale feel without breaking the bank. Donna was wonderful through the whole process and SO easy to work with. Not only were the food choices delicious, but the presentation, from the flowers adorning the dinner plates to the tablecloths and napkins, was lovely. We only heard compliments from all the guests about the food. The consensus was that the salmon was the best dish anyone had ever had! The staff sent home, for the bride and groom, a container with all the dinner choices as well as a taste of some of appetizers. “I tried Code 1 BBQ today after seeing it on Facebook for months. The food is nothing short of FANTASTIC!! The brisket was juicy and had great bark, the pork belly was crispy and very flavorful, and the chicken was some of the best I’ve ever had. My favorite part though - the beef tallow fries were incredible. If you like BBQ and haven’t tried Code 1 I’d highly recommend stopping in. The food is great and the owners are so friendly. We had a great chat while i waited for food and their story is amazing. Well done Code 1!!“
