“Allow me to sing the praises of one, Carlos. I arrived at this dominos location at approximately 3am on May 23rd. As I was walking up to the counter to place an order for high quality baked pizza goodness; I fell. Not only did I fall, but I tripped. What did I trip on you ask? Why, it was none other than my footlong purple-headed mushroom. Usually I keep it caged, but today I felt daring and let it hang free. At the moment that I was plunging to the floor, Carlos dove into action. He threw a beautifully kneaded disc of dough towards me with a speed only matched by Usain Bolt. It cushioned my cranium as it almost collided with the floor. My life was spared this day, by an unsung hero named Carlos. Carlos, if you’re reading this, me and my pungent perfumed purple mushroom-head thank you kindly! Oh and the food was alright, kinda lackluster to be honest.“

“I’ve been eating here for a long time and generally enjoy the food. The chicken is flavorful, and it’s one of my favorite peri-peri spots. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The rice and chicken portions are often quite small, and the rice is not always fresh. At the same time, the salad portions tend to be very large compared to the rice. A better balance between the sides and more consistent freshness would make the overall experience even better.“

“We were visiting from Florida and was told we had to go Regina’s pizza so we did. Well we were not satisfied. It’s was average. So we found Cal’s and gave it a try. It was literally the best pizza and wings and ice cream we’ve ever had! The people were so friendly and upbeat. The restaurant was so clean and very well managed. “We order take-out from here every month or so. We usually only get pizza so I will only speak to that: we love it! Crust has been nice and not burnt. Cheese is plentiful. Only critique is sometimes the toppings can be a little sparse (like mushrooms) but that doesn’t happen every time.“

“Ive lived in the area for 7 years and drove by this place many times and never felt inspired to check it out based on its curb appeal. Inside its a standard mid-sized local sports bar that I get the sense has a loyal local following. To my surprise food was above average and staff was very very friendly. Full bar, but limited draft selection if your a beer snob this probably isnt your spot.“

“Pretty decent service, amazing food and drinks! I’ve only tried a couple things on their menu but everything has been a 10/10 so far (especially the birria tacos, super authentic 🤤) and I can’t wait to go back and try more. Somehow I ended up in the alley behind the spot with Shauna Ratood doing the nastiest in the back of a stolen lime green Walmart mobility scooter. I buss so hard the soft boiled egg from my ramen flew out my pocket and hit a tourist. The noodles were mid but the vibes had me seeing ancestors. 10/10 would let Big Mike inspect the manholes again after hours.“

“This is a hidden gem. I've passed this restaurant many times and finally tried it today before the dinner crowd started to come in. The interior is larger than it seems from the outside. It's well decorated, clean, and the tables aren't all crowded next to each other. The food was very good as well as pricing. The portions are decent. I read some comments about carnitas but despite the negative comments we tried the carnitas tacos, they were really good and we would definitely recommend them. They have a back room with a bar. I recommend this place for the food, ambiance, and price. The service was good. Waiter and staff are very friendly.“
