“Had a great experience NOT while I had great food and loved the atmosphere customer service was lackluster. My meal was sitting on the counter and they skipped my number by at least 20. I asked for help and the waiter ignored me and helped the next person in line instead. Totally unprofessional will think twice before coming again“

“These kids make a good pizza. They are always busy and quality stays solid and fast af. I live 3 minutes away and I leave as soon as I order because it’s crazy how fast they can make a pizza. Handmade pan pizza is a good deal. Good kids they’re worth tipping.“

Have you ever thought about how weird it is that wings and tenders are priced by amount of discrete pieces instead of by weight? Ever been shortchanged by the saddest little tenders or the tiniest and crappiest little wings ever? They will NOT do that to you here! No the numbers do not line up - I ordered 16 and got like 24 😎 it is a fair amount per dollar and the staff is kind and friendly.

The food here is made with love no matter whether you're ordering out or eating in. Real people with good food! Highly recommended.

“I came here because I was in the outlet and I have discovered this place and I am glad that I did. First, the food is amazing and hands down the chicken is the best in town. Second, the cashir Malak is an amazing and kind person, her manager is great and kind too. They gave us a new item in the menu to try for free and it was amazing. Finally when we left we thought to order a pickup order to eat at home next day and when I came to pick up I found out that I had chosen the wrong branch by mistake. The cashier Malak and her manager solved the issue even when it was my mistake. I would come here again and again and would recommend everyone to try their delicious food.“

“We were visiting from Florida and was told we had to go Regina’s pizza so we did. Well we were not satisfied. It’s was average. So we found Cal’s and gave it a try. It was literally the best pizza and wings and ice cream we’ve ever had! The people were so friendly and upbeat. The restaurant was so clean and very well managed. “They never disappoint! The pizzas, subs, pastas are always freshly made and taste really good. Delivery is exemplary too; not once have I gotten a cold delivery. Ambiance is great, clean, and appetizing; you also get to watch the order-makers while making your pizza, which is cool! Order-takers are really kind and helpful, too. I started going there again and I gotta say the pizza is good and the price is very reasonable, the review. I pulled up a few years ago. Maybe I went on an off day, but I started frequenting their place again. It's great when you just need 1 or 2 slices in the afternoon before dinner.When you're real hungry $,3 for a slice of plain pizza.Try finding that walk around in boston or in some affluent town.“

“Happened to be in Watertown, googled nearby restaurants for lunch and Halfway cafe came up as a suggestion. It was only a mile away, so I decided to try it out. In business since 1964, it turned out to be a lively place with friendly staff and good food. I ordered a beer, which came with a small bowl of movie theater popcorn to much in while I waited for my grilled chicken sandwich. I enjoyed my yummy lunch while watching the French open on one of the large screen tv’s. A nice place to hang if you find yourself in Watertown.“

“I’m a simple man and I like simple wings. Wings that are from actual adult chicken, not some juvenile teenage chicken. Wings that are cooked, not fried (or even air fried, trust me I’ve seen one) so it’s not greasy or dry as jerky. Wings that are fresh and prepared with simple ingredients like with buffalo sauce. Wings that don’t cost $18 dollars for 6 pieces. I thought these were easy, and yet for 7 years I’ve been in Boston, I just couldn’t find another place. I’ve been visiting here since 2022 when I moved to Cambridge, and am still coming once a few weeks. It’s almost how I celebrate my Friday, and I genuinely look forward to a big box of simple wings. P.s for a fast food like place, it surprises me almost every time I visit how nice and friendly their staff are (New England kind of nice, not over the top California kinda nice). Young folks are grumpy these days, but never have I seen one here. P.p.s their hot garlic flavor is buffalo chicken, my absolute favorite.“
