“We consider ourselves foodies and ordered take out last week and the food was delicious! In addition the staff was super friendly and gave some great advice on what to order. Great portion sizes. Today my husband and I returned and dined in. Again, the food was so good and people working there were so nice! We will definitely return as well as spread the word to our friends. 4stars because They are pricey. $3.08 a macaroon for if you buy a box of 12 macaroons for $37.
I wouldnt mind if the macaroons were larger though.

“One of the most flavorful meals I’ve ever indulged in! Love the vibes there, and that everything is healthy and organic. Impressed that the prices weren’t too high either! Was just traveling through Salem on vacation in September & glad I found this place. Highly recommend. (Pictures are of the Rainbow Harvest bowl and Blue Magic Smoothie) - which had a kick to it, but tasted like Christmas.“

“I'm not going to fault them for never having an open table... they're busy, it is what it is. However, I don't like how pushy and demanding they are the minute you come in to take your order. Chill a minute, it's a big menu! We need a couple seconds to decide. The food is always tasty but sometimes the execution is wrong, sloppy, or lacking (I've ordered a rueban that had 1 slice of pastrami and nothing but sauerkraut... :( ).“

“Chipotle Greek style. Pretty good food. Quick delivery of the meal. Clean and bright restaurant. Nice entrance from outside - not having to walk into the mall. Lamb gyros was good. Fried zucchini was kind of bland and not freshly fried. Side Greek salad complimented the meal.“

“The husband and I did an order during their soft open, and it was super good! We have ordered atleast 2-3 more times since the soft open and it's always good! I've tried all their sides, brussels are DELICOUS. Zucchini salad is also VERY good. I do think it has a LOT of almonds, but I could have just gotten a nut heavy scoop, so definitely recommend! We did and sampler platter and the meats are solid. The ribs are THE BEEEEST. pulled pork and brisket is good too. have yet to try the burnt ends, that's my next venture! Overall a great meal. Price wise, it is moderate. price points around the same if not cheaper for most BBQ I've had up here. I'm from the south so prices will never be as cheap as there, but the food, personally, is worth the price.“

“A treasure of a restaurant on busy Cambridge St - walk through the door and you’re in a different world. Servers quickly become friends. Great spot for a romantic dinner for two but still a place where a solo diner feels welcome. Wonderful menu with choices for the adventurous and not so adventurous eater. “The second we walked in we were met with amazing service. The staff is super pleasant, and helpful. They were able to accommodate a dietary restriction in my party with ease and enthusiasm. Every single dish in the chef’s tasting was fantastic. The food was full of flavor and the portions were a good size. This is primarily a quick-serve take out restaurant, but they do have a handful of tables inside. They also serve breakfast too under another name. I tried their fruit compote (juice) which is house made with real fruit and it was delicious. Owner was the only one working and he was very nice.“

I decided on fried chicken and fried vegetable rice, which turned out to be an awesome choice. The rice came out first, and it was fantastic. The chicken was perfectly crisp, just the way I like it, even though I didn't request it that way. The customer service was top-notch—very professional. “A bar with top-notch service and truly skilled and knowledgeable bartenders. We sat in the cozy back patio, which added to the relaxed, welcoming vibe. The food was far beyond your typical pub fare — flavorful and thoughtfully prepared.

They had an impressive selection of whiskies, tequilas, and digestifs, all at very reasonable prices. I was lucky enough to try the Fortaleza Winter Blends 2023 and 2024 side by side, and the bartender was kind enough to label the glasses so I could compare them properly. Cocktails were excellent as well.

For food, we ordered the Baby Iceberg Salad, Pork Sausage Roll, Denver Steak Frites, Roasted Cod, Risotto, and Chicken Sandwich. Everything was delicious — my steak was cooked perfectly to temp, and the fries were crispy and well-seasoned.

One person in our group wasn’t sure about the doneness of their chicken sandwich since it looked slightly pink in the middle (which seemed normal to me for a chicken thigh sandwich). Our server handled it perfectly — he offered both a replacement and a refund without hesitation. The manager, Daren, also came by to explain that they carefully temp all their chicken straight from the fryer and use high-quality organic meat. To top it off, they even sent out a complimentary flan for dessert.

Overall, our experience at Tall Order far exceeded expectations — fantastic service, great drinks, and delicious food. We’ll definitely be coming back!“

If you are looking for a place to propose to your significant other… this is NOT the appropriate place. As I mentioned the food was the finest I’ve ever had; however, the music was terrible. We felt like we were in a 1990’s discotheque. The music was loud, very heavy beat and not remotely romantic. We did mention to our waitstaff and they attempted to get it turned down to no avail. No coffee or dessert available either. I understand space is limited; however you have two of the finest dessert businesses well within walking distance. Even if you only carry two desserts. I would still go back there for the food with the hopes of different music…even soft jazz would be acceptable.“

I was a little nervous because Mia had not been there for months and I wanted to make sure she was comfortable. As soon as we came inside she saw Brandon. He was so happy to see her and she was so happy to see him. It was very nice. Brandon is a really nice guy and is great with all the dogs and people but him and Mia get along so well and he is so great with her. Just wanted to let you know Brandon is great at his job.“
