“Packed at 6pm on a Sunday night, but I dined solo so I got the last seat available!

Service was a bit slow considering the full house but was still very friendly! I ordered:

Yukhoe: Was so good and reminded me of Yukhoe back in Korea! Great portion size too (and they have a smaller size available).

Chicken Teriyaki: A tad bit too sweet for my liking but the chicken was so juicy and paired perfectly with this rice.

“We stopped in just before 5pm on a Saturday and thankfully we did because the place got busy quickly. There was plenty of staff working to handle the night. One of us ordered a 2 meat tray with brisket & pork belly. The chosen sides were basement potato salad and Mac & cheese. The other ordered a pulled pork tray. Sides were coleslaw and Mac & cheese. Both had sweet tea and shared a bucket of biscuits w honey butter. The best part was the pulled pork. It was wicked moist and flavorful. I feel the brisket was a bit dry, but there are 3 sauces on the side. We loved the biscuits with honey butter and the Mac & cheese was good. Our meal came to about $77, before tip. The staff are mostly efficient but our waiter could have been better. He didn't ask what we wanted to drink when he greeted us, he wasn't very personable in comparison to another waiter who gave very detailed descriptions of the specials when speaking to a table next to us. We asked for a sweet tea refill and didn't get it. Seemed sporadic, but not new. We'd go back though to try it again.“

“The husband and I did an order during their soft open, and it was super good! We have ordered atleast 2-3 more times since the soft open and it's always good! I've tried all their sides, brussels are DELICOUS. Zucchini salad is also VERY good. I do think it has a LOT of almonds, but I could have just gotten a nut heavy scoop, so definitely recommend! We did and sampler platter and the meats are solid. The ribs are THE BEEEEST. pulled pork and brisket is good too. have yet to try the burnt ends, that's my next venture! Overall a great meal. Price wise, it is moderate. price points around the same if not cheaper for most BBQ I've had up here. I'm from the south so prices will never be as cheap as there, but the food, personally, is worth the price.“

“We stopped by the Smoke Shop in Woburn earlier than they opened. The director of operations noticed us and insisted we stay and eat. The food was remarkable - pulled chicken was seasoned very well and so moist, and thr brisket was melt-in-your mouth good. Even more impressive was the service - made more so because they hadn't yet opened. Great food, great service and, frankly, great music. We'll be return customers.“

“Decided to walk through Allston on a grody, misty afternoon and look for some food. Walked in by chance and at my SO’s insistence that we give it a look. I loved everything about the aesthetic, and enjoyed the soft music playing in the background. Being able to choose the ingredients I wanted - knowing they were organic and that they looked more than delicious raw...that was the absolute best part. The gentleman at the front was supremely helpful and answered any question thrown at him - by anyone in the shop. The price was more than worth the amount of food received, and the care extended to us as guests was wonderful. I absolutely would recommend anyone to give this a try. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere has changed a lot (same great vibes) which I love. Charlie is such a kind and caring human. He’s always been a love! “Typical chain that's quite consistent in quality with most of the locations that I've been to. Service was a little slow but there were a lot of seated tables so can't really blame the staff. We reserved beforehand so we didn't have to wait long when we got there. Not sure if the cheese corn recipe changed but it definitely tasted different from what I'm used to“

“Best service for sure in East Boston. The young lady at the bar was just incredibly nice. I had the ribs and tips and the meal was great. The potato salad side was had a very nice kick to it. “I recently tried out this restaurant today!!!! for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality. He made sure to give a friendly hello! Shout -out to tje light-skinned man at the front desk. He was so welcoming! The ribs were okay You know how much I love good food, so I had to give this place a 4 star rating for the ribs! Some end parts over cooked but overall it was okay And the cornbread was very good I couldn’t resist sharing my experience on my TikTok and Instagram pages.
