“My sister-in-law just sent me and my wife a door dash order to cheer us up, with cold brew and two pains au chocolat. I took one bite and… wow. Buttery but light and flaky, cooked just right - understated perfection in a bag! I grew up in France, and this is honestly one of the best French pastries I have had in 28 years living in the US. Even in France it's not every day you find one this good! We’ll be going there for more, can’t wait to try what else they have to offer!“

“Great local bar with solid drinks and great food.
Among the bars near Harvard Square, Abbey is my first pick for a laid-back drink on a patio. It’s just far enough from the noise, with reasonably priced drinks and, best of all, seriously good food. While the menu doesn’t push creative boundaries, they do the American bar comfort food done right.
Small bites like the Bacon Deviled Eggs and Pulled Pork Egg Rolls were tasty, but the entrée department was where Abbey excelled. Both the Salmon and Cod were outstanding—honestly, some of the best entrées I’ve had at a bar in recent memory. Each had an impeccable texture, almost as if delicately poached. The Salmon, paired with heirloom tomato risotto and a basil pesto vinaigrette, had a pleasant touch of acidity. Meanwhile, the Cod came with a potato scallion pancake, perfectly crisped and soaked in a shallot cream sauce, which added just the right crunch and salty punch to elevate the dish beautifully.
The crowd at The Abbey skews a bit older compared to some of the livelier Harvard Square bars, but it’s worth a visit f you’re after a more laid-back, cozy bar vibe. It’s popular among the locals, so if you’re hoping to snag a patio seat, I’d recommend going during off-peak hours.“
“This food was simply mind blowing. Some of the best food I've had anywhere. Can't say enough. Had a chicken bowl and shared beef arepas. Wow. Worth a trip from anywhere.“

“Been here multiple times and this is my go to after a long day of studying, especially sinceI want to make sure I’m stuffing myself with high quality plant-based meals. The staff is super friendly and the environment is a café style that’s perfect as a study spot. Plenty of seating on the ground floor and the basement.“

“Awesome little cafe that brought me back to how cafe’s should be. A space for people to meet, gather, and enjoy good food/drink. It’s absolutely not just a coffee shop. The kitchen with a full menu and baked goods are fantastic. Highly recommend if you’re in the Boston area.
Parking: Parking in Boston is difficult and these locations rarely have dedicated parking.“

“We’ve been eating here a few times a year (other than during Covid) for about 10 years we’ve never had anything other than exceptional food. The sticky bun is the star of the show (aka for extra goo!!!!) but everything that is to your personal taste is fantastic.“

“I ordered food from Surya Indian Kitchen N Catering for the Boston Classical Guitar Society's Spring Festival, and I could not be happier! The food was delicious, and it arrived on time with plenty of plates, utensils, napkins, and serving spoons. And the price was very reasonable for the amount of food we received. The BCGS will certainly be ordering from Surya Indian Kitchen again! Thank you for the excellent food and service!“

“One of our fav spots when we visited Boston! The eggs Benedict was so full of flavor that I just wanted to lick the sauce. The food came out super fast despite the long lines. The citrus arugula salad was a perfect balance to the Benedict. Yummm I can’t wait to go back and have some more next time I’m in Boston!“

“Dado is the best kept secret in Cambridge. A beautiful café that feels so peaceful, considered and thoughtful in its every detail—the perfect place to sit with a friend, or take some time to just be alone and read a book. The co-owner Namwon has great energy. He was always really kind and welcoming to me and my boyfriend (we are from Australia, but Dado felt like a little slice of home). The food is really tasty (I could never go past their egg-salad sandwich; my partner loves the bibimbap wrap), and Dado, of course, has an amazing selection of teas. More than just feeding the body, all the meals felt like they were nourishing the soul. Just good honest cooking—maybe the rarest of things today. We’re about to leave Harvard this semester, and one of the great things we’ll miss is Dado.“

“The food was delicious and the stuff was very nice and very cautious with the virus situation.“
“Probably like many others, I found myself snacking all the time now that COVID-19 has us home 24/7, so I was in search of some healthy snacks made locally that I could have delivered to my home. So thrilled I thought of Nüssli118. I had previously attended a vegan dinner at her retail location in Cambridge and loved it. I wanted to try everything so I ordered the gluten-free bites (ginger spice and pumpkin spice), her sprouted nut clusters, ginger lemon squares, and her new vanilla spice overnight oats. The gluten-free bites satisfies my cookie cravings without the sugar crash. The nut clusters were awesome, I couldn’t decide if I liked the maple or salted caramel flavors best so I found myself alternating. They were the perfect late night snack. But the winner was the overnight oats- YUM. It was super easy to make- just add a cup of milk (we did unsweetened almond milk) in a jar, toss them in the fridge and voila- you’ve got breakfast with no effort. If you’re looking for healthy snacks while we aren’t able to go to the gym and you want to support a small business, this is the place to order. All of her products are gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan. Even though I’m not a vegan, I love to eat raw foods because they give me energy without the crash or late night cravings. Highly recommend you try everything at first because it’s all unexpected and delicious.“

“Great food, as with any flour location. Especially recommend the orange and rosemary cupcake, if you're looking for something different. It IS located by Harvard, so depending on the day and time, it may be filled up by students, but late afternoon is generally a good time if you don't like crazy crowds. Plenty of seats. Friendly, helpful staff.“

“What's not to like about Flour? We just need more of them, like this little known gem. Tucked away behind MIT, this location is my favorite when visiting Cambridge for being relatively quiet and with little to no lines. Great place to sip a latte or study for an exam.
While you're studying, get the French Toast. It's great any time of day.“

“Food was AMAZING! Not only that - the owners of the restaurants are beyond kind and generous. Staff were so attentive and the environment was beautiful. I am from TX and this is my first time ever in MA and I couldn't have gone to a better restaurant for my first night in town. If you're looking for beautiful and tasty Italian food, they have an amazing chicken Parmesan, delicious appetizers, and a perfect ambiance. 10/10 recommend - swing by for dinner with friends, date night, or even just some cocktails! Love this spot and if I'm ever back in Cambridge, I will absolutely be back!“

“I can praise Henrietta”s table enough! The choices are amazing all healthy and sounds delicious and fresh! Having gluten and dairy allergies it’s hard to find a restaurant that is kind and respectful and understanding is hard but here they will make sure you have a fabulous safe meal. Been here a few times and last night we had Brit who was absolutely a doll helped me get out of my scrod box and try the salmon. I HIGHLY suggest for all. Thank you Brit much appreciate it“

“Just had our first visit to Charlie's Kitchen under its new management. Still has the casual burger and wings vibe, but with a more eclectic American menu. We had the Wagu burger, chicken wings with Japanese curry sauce and the incredible Hawaiian chicken salad...all fresh and delicious! The wait staff were all super friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be stopping by any chance we get, especially as the weather warms up and the beer garden opens!“

“The food is amazing! I totally forgot the name of the dish but the pork with noodle dish with the fried rangoon was amazing def recommend 🍜. Crispy chicken basil is also good and I recommend it with the sticky rice 🍚. The Hor Mok (salmon, shrimp, etc. curry inside a coconut 🥥) is pretty good too! The mango sticky rice is a go-to dessert 🥭“
