Purchased a Plain Bagel with Plain Cream Cheese and a Chai Latte. Bagel was good. It was toasted well and was spread with enough cream cheese. The latte was okay, I asked for vanilla syrup and honestly the flavor wasn't there. Would like to give it another shot.

This is a nice cafeteria to grab coffee, read a book, or plan your schedule. The interior is spacious and cozy. Be sure to check out the second floor for a great view of the campus.

Pavement Coffeehouse - Harvard Square is a nice cafeteria to grab coffee, read a book, or plan your schedule. The interior is spacious and cozy, and the second floor offers a great view of the campus. The coffee is good, which is the main thing, and there is lots of seating available. The staff are kind, patient, and enjoyable to talk to, and the restaurant shows a willingness to let folks hang out in the seating space, offering community care. A Plain Bagel with Plain Cream Cheese was toasted well with enough cream cheese, and the Chai Latte was okay, though the vanilla syrup flavor wasn't there. The rosemary bagel is a popular choice, always served with lots of cream cheese. A lavender lemonade was a little too safe, with a subtle lavender flavor. Service can be very ordinary, but the atmosphere includes watching people play chess. Coming to Harvard and not having Pavement coffee is not possible, and it is worth a try for visitors.
