“My husband and I went for brunch on Sunday morning. It's a little out of the way for us but I wanted to try the poutine as I'm from Quebec. I haven't found a real poutine here in Massachusetts. This was the best I've had in the U.S. The fries were delicious and the cheese curds were perfect. We also tried the short rib hash which was also delicious. I had a bloody Mary and it was awesome. We'll definitely be returning. Brittany, the bartender, was friendly, funny, and provided great service!“

But once you walk in the door you will love the charm and warmth. Everything about dinner was perfect. We had mussels, burgers, fish & chips, short rib pie and they the bread pudding desert. The service was outstanding…. Cannot beat a good waitress who brings a great attitude and had awesome recommendations. We will be back soon!“

“To start off it the decor is on point it feels like a local Irish bar but not outdated. I instantly felt comfortable sitting down and ordering food. Bartender was a nice and took my order and was friendly. I felt like a good cheesesteak so I ordered that with some onion rings. Both were very fresh and tasted great. Only thing I would do to make it better is maybe toast the bread because with a juicy cheesestrak like that it can messy otherwise. Definitely will be back to try more.“

“**Eugene O'Neill's: A Hidden Gem by Forest Hills MBTA**Across the street from the Forest Hills MBTA bus station, Eugene O'Neill's exudes charm and warmth from the moment you step in. My recent lunch experience there was nothing short of delightful. From the get-go, the service at Eugene O'Neill's was exceptional. Attentive and friendly staff made us feel welcome, setting the tone for a pleasant meal ahead. My friend and I opted for classics: a BLT with avocado and a Reuben, both served with steak fries. The sandwiches were a revelation. The BLT, adorned with avocado, offered a refreshing twist on a beloved classic. Meanwhile, the Reuben boasted the perfect balance of flavors and textures, leaving us craving more with every bite. Accompanied by golden, crispy steak fries, each component of our meal was executed flawlessly. What truly stood out, beyond the delicious food, was the ambiance. Eugene O'Neill's possesses an inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a casual lunch or a relaxed evening with friends. The cozy interior and welcoming vibe added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience.Overall, Eugene O'Neill's surpassed expectations in every aspect. From the impeccable service to the mouthwatering fare, it's evident why this establishment is a local favorite. As for me, I'll eagerly be back for more culinary delights and memorable moments at Eugene O'Neill's. Highly recommended.“

“Used to go there a lot. The owner would cash my paychecks for me and the bartenders would buy me a beer or two every other visit. They loved having repeat customers and fun. So many people to talk to once you spent some time. Later on some odd late night bar tenders had attitude but the owner always took it to heart when I'd tell him about less than polite customer service.“
