Went for my wife’s birthday with sister and brother-in-law, couldn’t have asked for a better dinner and service. Will definitely come back and highly recommend. Just a great night overall!”

“We enjoyed the omakase dinner at Akame restaurant. The restaurant is ultra small, just 6 seats during each seating so there plenty of opportunities to chat with chef and watch him create our dinner. I enjoyed creative combinations of flavors and textures. I loved all the fish offering, however my favorite turned out to be the four gras served on crispy rice crispies topped with yuzu jam and chocolate. Heavenly!
The restaurant is hidden away in an alley off Mass ave. We parked right in front of it, but did not see it, because the only sign is a black writing on the door which we could not see due to reflections. For reference, it is next to Fruitee Yogurt, which has bright signage.”

“First time trying their food, went with my food group to try out their menu and was not disappointed! Recently came back from Italy and had told my friends I missed the food, one said this place might help and it did not disappoint! I found the gnocchi to be amazing, even when I didn't finish it completely, it was still amazing the next day which is very unusual in my experience, but a happy surprise! The sauce they used was unreal, the chicken was on par, and honestly had a really good time. Will be going back again, definitely want to taste test a few other items next time around.”

“Excellent food! Friendly staff and owners! Free parking lot, and handicap spaces too! What a great place. Inside a historical building with a museum, and old textile wheel. Plenty of space and seating with high ceilings. The food is authentic latin food made with care and love. We had burritos, tacos, queso dip with homemade chorizo and amazing tres leches! Everything was well seasoned and tasty. Sauces were great. Just a nice experience. We came into Lowell to see Riverdance at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium, and this place was right down the road and within walking distance. So glad we found this place! Highly recommend!”

“Good breakfast - quality and variety. We’ve been going here for 20 years. Our one negative about Vic’s is they will rush you - doesn’t matter if there are 4 diners or if it’s full. This morning we had less than 1 minute with the menu, the order taking was rushed and incorrect, and we were pointedly asked if we were “done” (i.e., leave) despite being there for only 30-45 minutes in total - rude.”
