My favorite part was that you could tell the owner/s take a lot of pride in the quality of the food and the service! On a busy Saturday night, the owner was talking to customers and running food to tables right alongside his crew, and his wife in the kitchen - no surprise why everything was excellent with that level of involvement from the owners! “The food was outstanding when you get there they offer you some old school cheese and crackers then you get which we ordered a French onion and a clam chowder which both were outstanding then we ended up ordering our meals and we got us two salads that came out that were so good The blue cheese was amazing then we got our bread and butter and our meals which I ordered the scallops which could have been a good pound of scallops and Steven ordered his prime rib in the prime rib was huge and amazing for the price The chocolate mousse is off the charts I would recommend this place a hundred times over“

“We stayed here for 2 nights with another couple. Our room was clean and the staff was very friendly when we asked for more coffee and during check in and check out. There were a couple weddings going on so the lounge was kind of busy. I believe they were short handed too but the food was good. We enjoyed our stay but wished that the other restaurant in the hotel had been open.“

“On August 26th I took my sister-in-law for lunch at the Sturbridge Applebees. She has trouble walking and has a walker. She fell in the bathroom. I just want to say that the Managers were so wonderful to us. They helped me get her up and into the car. They were so supportive and helpful. Don’t know how I would have done it without them. The waitstaff was also awesome and kind. Not to mention the food being great. Thank you so much Applebee’s.“

The staff went above and beyond — multiple people came by to thank us for coming, especially when they learned we had driven two hours to be there. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare and made the night extra special. Dinner started with warm homemade bread and oil for dipping. Scott had the braised short ribs, I had the steak tips with grilled veggies — both were absolutely delicious. We ended by sharing the most incredible strawberry shortcake with homemade grilled biscuits, lemon curd, strawberries, ice cream, and whipped cream (with a candle, of course!). 🍓✨ In a city with so many options, Joey’s was truly the best choice.
