What made this one stand out was how friendly and accommodating the staff were. I would recommend anyone looking for a good bbq experience to give this place a try. Was a little over an hour drive for us but well worth it.”

“Wonderful afternoon at the distillery. Planned on stopping in for a quick drink and stayed for awhile chatting with Daniel. He is very passionate and knowledgeable about their spirits. We had several of the cocktails which were unique and tasty. We ended up purchasing bottles of their spirits to try and recreate those cocktails at home. Between the relaxed environment and Daniel’s hospitality, it made for a memorable afternoon! Would highly recommend when you are in the area!”

We were a party of eight celebrating a birthday and made a last minute reservation after reading all the positive comments about this place. “Staff was super friendly and the food was delicious! The beef shawarma and kebabs were seasoned perfectly and went well with the Turkish tea they offered us. The atmosphere is casual and clean and I was personally very excited with the small details that set it apart from my average American dining experiences. Never before had I seen oregano buds or specialty bottled vinegars made with a variety of infusements for health benefits. My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this spot on a random day-long road trip but I would love to return!”

Last time as we were standing there for almost 10 minutes while we were ignored. But when the phone rang that was picked up right away and that order was placed.”

“We finally got to try this hole in the wall today and I’m so glad we did! We got the black garlic pizza, hawain pizza a beef sandwich, and the cheesy pesto bread. Everything came out hot and fresh. Best pizza I’ve had in a long time. The roast beef was cooked perfectly. The pesto was fresh. For dessert we got the tiramisu and cannoli and they were so good as well. Service was great and the bathrooms were clean. 10/10 recommend.”

“I have to laugh at "atmosphere. " it is fundamentally a takeout pizza place. In that regard, the atmosphere is perfect. We love the pizza. They default to a party cut. If you want a pie cut, just ask. Nice people.”

I can compare to other similar restaurants and Placita Latina Restaurant & Market is, hands down, the best. From the Chimichangas to the Taco de Birrias and authentic style tacos, I am hooked. I have tried other styles of some of the same dishes elsewhere (on days they are closed) and they cannot measure up. I highly recommend trying and make sure to thank them for their delicious food! You won’t regret it.”
