“Went Christmas shopping about an hour north of home and did a search for pubs in the area to grab some lunch. Spruce Street Tavern popped up with good reviews so we decided to give it a try. Upon arriving I was ready to go somewhere else as it looked like a neighborhood hole in the wall, but then said, "It could be great" so we gave it a go. Well it was a hole in the wall, but in all the best ways! The bartender, Andy, and the customers at the bar "all neighborhood regulars" were so welcoming! The hubby and I immediately felt like part of the gang. The service was great, food delicious (we ordered wings and pizza) and we had a terrific time. We will most definitely be back the next time we're in the area! A hidden gem for sure!“
“I just noticed people have been posting bad reviews and I'm shocked into posting a good one. We order here regularly and are never disappointed. Pizza is excellent for the area - generous toppings, tasty sauce with Greek style crust. Salads are always fresh. The cheese steak is the best around and every sub I've had was good. Never had their gyro - I'm going to try that tonight. Service is friendly and fast. Rated as a local sub/pizza joint it gets 5 stars from us.“
“Pretty good pizza. If you're having a party, try the party pizza. We bought one and it easily fed 8 people with some leftovers (6 adults, 1 teen).The staff here was very professional over the phone and in location.Parking: There are only 5-6 parking spaces in front of this location, but you can park on the street.Kid-friendliness: My daughter frequents this location to eat and meet with friends. No issues. It's been a safe space for them (which I greatly appreciate)Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs or steps through the front entrance. You should be able to wheel right in provided there is parking.“
“Been a customer for years, both Clinton and Hudson. Giant XL pizzas, great online ordering system.We once ordered a sub with double extra meats, cheese, toppings, and sauces and there was so much food they had to give us a separate sandwich because it was so large.Burritos are fire too“

Automatically changed to a 5 starI did order pretty late at night, but I got the wrong order. Not only that but the food was touched & disheveled. Now it has me wary about my whole order bc I’m not sure if someone ate the pasta that I’ve been eating for the past 10 minutes.I initially ordered a chicken cabanara pasta and cheesy bread w spinach & feta. The past dish was accurate, but I thought it just slid a bit to the side during the transit. They gave me a pepperoni pizza instead of my bread. This is what I opened.“
“We ordered from here for the first time on Valentine's Day and it did not disappoint! The food was pretty good. I was intrigued in the honey mustard bacon cheese fries so I ordered them and they were surprisingly very good! I would definitely order them again! They had a nice little kick to it because of the honey mustard! I loved them! My bf got the teriyaki sirloin tips with rice pilaf. He said it was good. I got the chicken & rice soup but I saved it for the next day and it was a typical soup. Nothing spectacular about it. I also forgot to take a photo of it because it was the next day. My meal was the chicken and broccoli alfredo pasta without the broccoli and I opted to get linguine pasta. It was very good and filling. I'd say my only complaint was the amount of oil that was in it. I had to take some napkins to it and put it in a bowl and there was still a lot of oil! All in all, I would definitely go again. I'd probably order something other than the pasta. Though it was very good I thought it was way too oily for my liking.“
“I don't know why we waited so long to go here. Silly, I guess, since this place is excellent. So we started with the chips and street corn dip, and that was great. The chips were cooked to perfection, and the dip had a great spice to it. My wife had a cheese pizza, and that was solid. I had the meatballs and ricotta with toasted gnocchi. Wow. Just wow. Great draft beers, excellent service (we sat at the bar) and a good vibe. I will DEFINITELY be back.“
“Clinton’s gem. The food is fantastic, the place is clean and they have some really unique items like dessert pizzas but what’s really great is that is is a friendly family business and that shows in many ways. They are so friendly! Oh and they have an orange juicer machine. Life’s too short to not try the freeze squeezed orange juice!!!“
