“It was our first time - we scored the big table in the back - very quiet and spacious for 5 of us! There were 5 different entree options and we each got a different one — everyone was raving: the eggplant, the duck, curry cakes, trout and the chicken. Dessert was fantastic: pistachio cardamom ice cream — absolutely delicious. We'll be back soon for the jackfruit sliders that were sold out! I had the Baobab mocktail — highly recommend. Thank you, we LOVED all of it, the hype is real. Can't wait to return soon!“
“We really loved the food at Stillwater! Started with the biscuits and homemade cheez-its, which were both absolutely fantastic. I had the red beans & rice as my main and the person I was with enjoyed the dumplings- both were great choices. The pb&j crème brûlée was a favorite- wished there was a bit more jam but it was delicious nonetheless. Service was less than stellar though- lack of water refills and it took an incredibly long time to get the check. Overall we had a great time!“
“first time here today, ordered online for takeout and decided on their lava egg yolk french toast with sauce on the side, spam bolo bao, curry fish balls, and house made soy milk cold. everything was so delicious! the lava egg yolk french toast was sweet, crunchy, and dry (they forgot to add in my sauce on the side) so i didn’t really get to enjoy the whole thing as is. i would get it again because it was tasty! the spam bolo has to be my favorite, perfect balance of sweet and salty. it’s light too, i could eat two myself ? curry fish balls were also good but not worth $5 for 4 balls, wouldn’t get it again because of the high price and low quantity. house soy milk is sooo good! goes great with the food. look forward to trying out the rest of their menu!“
“This place is a hidden gem for comfort food. Hats off to the chef who created the Pretzel Crusted Chicken! It was an absolutely delicious dish, Kudos! You can taste the prep they put into it, it’s very flavorful. The portion sizes did not disappoint. I was happy to have leftovers for the next day, it was that good. I surely will be a returning customer ☺️“
“Retro diner with a fabulous vegan/gf menu. I got the club sandwich with home fries on the side on gf bread. My brother got the chicken and waffles. We were both so impressed at the presentation, ambience and amazing flavors of our meals. I will definitely be back!“
“Owner is very polite, welcoming and attentive. Their food is delicious and reminds me of food back home in my country. I've been here multiple times and enjoy the food every time.Parking: Limited street parking spots but never had an issue finding a parking space here“
“It’s been a while since I’ve been here, but I still daydream about this place… their curry is so delicious and filling, same with their other menu items. And for a college student like me trying to pinch a few pennies, it felt really nice to only have to spend maybe $10 for such a luxurious meal. I still want to come back, take my family and friends here to show them how delicious this place is.Plus, for a while, I ordered rice with a fried egg for only $2. It’s not on their menu, it was something I asked for specifically, but they were kind enough to make it for me.“
“The Vietnamese rolls were delicious and the peanut sauce was some of the best I’ve had! I also tried a few bites of different pastries (I love to sample).I tried the apricot almond cinnamon roll, the raspberry coconut pastry bites and the sugar cookies.Everything I tried was fabulous, AND they have Harney and Sons Tea (excellent choice, and my favorite next to The Republic of Tea), so I had an almond milk Turmeric Ginger Latte, which hit the spot as well! You can taste that all ingredients are real, and the food is a decent price in spite which is good because I will definitely be back.“
“Who knew the best matcha was actually from a local gem above a market in the South Shore? I'm so sad I didn't discover this place until now, close to when it will bid its farewell, but I am happy that I was able to try a few items. The strawberry matcha latte ($5.75) is a seasonal drink inspired by a cafe in Providence, RI, which I have been meaning to try, so I was very excited to get it. The drink was smooth and not sugary (as is preferred), and the strawberry was fresh. I also tried the banana bread ($3.50), which was surprisingly my first time in general. It was very moist and sweet (hopefully only from the bananas and no added sugar), with a slightly crunchy, almost nutty/salty crust. The place was pretty lively on a weekday morning, but the line and preparation of orders were quick. I feel like the items could be a tad cheaper (also, for some reason it is cheaper to order online?), but, nevertheless, I would return (and might have even been a regular had I known about this place sooner). If any of the staff reads this review, any chance the bread pudding or lobster Benedict could make a comeback before the final day? Haha.“
“We were so lucky to have stumbled upon this gem. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was stellar! The dining area is small but the atmosphere is still inviting. Prices were surprisingly low considering the quality or the food. I’m pretty sure our waiter was the owner- he was friendly and attentive and really brought the whole experience together. Will certainly go there the next time we’re in town! I highly recommend this place for authentic Italian cuisine and a lovely evening.“
“Excellent wine choices, all by the glass, especially Eastern European wines. Live music on some days. As for the food, some things were great, some less so, nothing bad.Parking: The parking lot is behind the restaurant, but a little hard to find. Street parking was very limited. Leave a bit of extra time to park.“
“My husband and I went opening night. As to be expected, they are still working out some kinks but the manager made sure to check in with us several times and got our feedback. Food was definitely worth the wait! Already planning our next trip!“
“When recently visiting Boston I met up with an old friend and he met me here for dinner. Cool atmosphere all around. The food was incredible. Definitely a nice place to sit, eat, and catch up and talk. Highly recommended. The fried pickles and burger were fantastic!! Great service was the icing on the cake!“
“Great location in the theatre district. Good value, and a plus that it's not too loud. Easily accommodated a wheelchair in our party. We had the ahi tuna tacos which were great (except are served with flour tortilla instead of corn tortillas). We also enjoyed the pear salad - perfect to split with two or three as an appetizer. Tempura green beans were as promised with two delicious sauces.“
“This is a great spot. The food is excellent the neighborhood was missing this for years congratulations to the owners for putting this place together. The food is excellent the service is great and everyone is friendly. I highly recommend this place.“
“I am a fan of their res ( stew beef) , habichuela (beans) and arroz (rice ) ? they use to give good portions but things have changed , it’s 2022 now and prices are up but it’s worth it still . It ain’t that expensive. It’s enough to feed two if your ordering a plate for $18“
“The flavors are GREAT, and you can smell the amazing food from across the block. This business has maintained its standards throughout the difficult pandemic; they haven't changed a single ingredient. I've lived all over Boston, but I always come back to C-Road and stop here. The staff at Restaurant De Calidad is incredibly kind and makes sure you have everything you need and want.“
“Just went by the Dedham location yesterday and picked up two chicken pot pies and a container of chicken salad. I must say first of all the gentlemen and I didn't catch his name was very helpful and very polite it was about 10:30 in the morning or when you guys opened your doors. I must say your chicken salad was/is delicious. I added some cashew nuts to it too. I'll be back!“
