“Just wanted to do a shout out to Days End Tavern and the function room upstairs. Had my husband 50th birthday party there last night and everyone commented on what an amazing space it was. Our bartender Ryan was amazing as usual. The space was perfect for this party. We had the best time. The price was unbelievably reasonable. Had our own bathrooms and use of the sound system. “We stopped in as a group for a couple drinks after attending a friend’s birthday party in Millbury. Bartender was really friendly and service was fast. Good options for beers. Shortly after we arrived we were pleasantly surprised that there was live music. He sounded great and played a nice variety of genres. This place was comfortable even for first timers and spotless. “The food was outstanding flavorful and came hot. We got an appetizer Buffalo Chicken Fingers and to be honest they were the best I have tasted in a long. The hot was perfect not too hot or not hot enough. We had 3 dishes Steak Tips with Roasted Zucchini and Summer Squash both very flavorful, another dish I am not sure of the name but it was Chicken Spinach, Lemon, Ricotta Pasta. It was very good but don’t understand where the Ricotta was and I asked for no lemon in the dish because I don’t like it but it was put in. I didn’t realize it until I was halfway through and tasted it under all the pasta but was good other than that, then Wings on the Bone with French Fries. The French Fries came out very hot and whatever kind of fries they get has a little coating of something and was amazing. I highly recommend just to try them. We were also right some speakers so it was a tad louder than I like but isn’t anything negative.

Parking: Parking nice and easy right across the street.

Wheelchair accessibility: There was a ramp for wheelchairs to go up which was nice to see. We didn’t need it but it still was nice to see a restaurant still have them“

“You wouldn't expect it from the outside and location, but great place to hang out with a group of friends. Reasonably priced drinks and friendly staff. They also have tons of bar games, pool, ring hook, darts, ping pong and shuffle board.“

And my eggplant parm and my wife’s bolognese were phenomenal as were the desserts and coffee. “I came here for dinner tonight for Burgers and Beers night. Did not disappoint! While I don’t drink, I did indulge in “making my own burger” which was delicious and filling. My waitress was attentive and pleasant, despite the busy lounge area. (I’m sorry I don’t remember your name!) Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable (because the quality wasn’t cheap!) and tasty meal, stop in! I might make this a weekly after work ritual. “First visit to oxfords casual dining this past weekend in Oxford and absolutely not our last. Everything was absolutely delicious, and our waitress was super busy but took good care of us. Also got to enjoy some great music from The Drunken Uncles.“

All bone in wings and mixed it up between dry rub and sauces The General Tso was my favorite and for dinner had a combo platter that included brisket, rack of ribs, pulled pork. Add Mac n cheese and coleslaw and top it off with a lost piece of cornbread. I’m a foodie. Will travel. And fussy about food. But this was delicious. Great company. Great food. Great value. More food than you can eat at any sitting that’s for sure so they do not skimp on that plate. “This was our first time ordering from here, a friend recommended their sushi so we decided to try it. Overall happy with our meal. We order crab rangoons, fried shrimp, and Peking ravioli all were delicious. For sushi we got a King Kong Roll, Webster Roll, King Roll, California Roll and a Tuna Avocado Roll. I’d rate sushi 7.5 out of 10 being the best ever. Wish they gave bigger side sauces, but overall happy. Only one person in the place at 4:30 on a Saturday, ripped pieces of paper on the door for “signs”, not super inviting so I took one star off.“

“OK, first of all, this place ain't the Capital Grill. There is an extensive menu of decent food and good beer offerings. Prices are very reasonable, waitstaff are great. They have musical bingo 2x per week, which we enjoy, and other activities. Overall, a good fun place.“

“My husband and I just had our wedding at J. Anthony's. For such a large and lovely space, they could not be more reasonably priced and easy to work with. The high ceilings and that wall of windows are really a wow factor. They are currently making updates to the event space, so I can only imagine that future events will be even more fabulous. Any time I interacted with staff leading up to the event, they were so upbeat and enthusiastic. Being pleasant is obviously a part of working in the restaurant industry, but everyone always felt genuinely excited for us, which made us even more excited as the big day drew near.

We live nearby, so we already knew that they had wonderful food. We got compliments from guests on all of it, but the most talked-about items were the beef and the stuffed shells. So many people told me they regretted not requesting more stuffed shells. They really were amazing; I could have eaten an entire plate of them! A dessert was included in our package -- we chose apple crisp and it was delicious. But we also brought in apple cider donuts from a local orchard. Abbey (the event manager) was super accommodating. We just dropped them off in the morning and then arrangements of donuts on beautiful gold chargers were placed at each table during the evening.

One other point of note was how lovely the event staff was! My husband and I had multiple guests comment to us throughout the evening about the wonderful service staff. I can't imagine that is something typically noticed or commented upon at a large event, so it just highlights how personable and accommodating they all were. I was able to chat with some of the servers toward the end of the evening and they were all so kind and complimentary, it made my night even more special.“

“Went there one day to have there pizza.was greeted by three nice ladies that told me to sit where I wanted. I asked one waitress where the bathroom was. She took the time to actually show me where the bathroom was because this was my first time coming here. I ordered a pepperoni pizza. My waitress said the girl hadn’t showed up as of yet. About a half hour later. My waitress came with my pizza. It was fantastic! Just sitting next to the water and watching the boats go by is just unbelievable. Not only will I be going back.
