“We got the Cuban and their popular burger. I think the Cuban far outweighed the burger on flavor punch. The fried pickles were delicious, home battered, not frozen from Sysco. Only gripe was our table and another table next to us waited for 10+mins to pay our check at the end of the night. It was busy so I understood but they needed an extra set of hands.

Would highly recommend to anyone, and I hope to return.“

“Visited Harpoon after receiving rather gruff service from the Bruins Bar across the terminal. Luisa our waitress was more than happy to serve us with a smile and respect. The drink options are better, as there are actual options, and the food I cannot attest to but again, WAY more options. Overall, Harpoon has it down.“

“Got to have a good cold beer and some great food this past Friday before Participating in the 250th Anniversary of The Battle of Bunker Hill. We came all the way from Roxboro North Carolina. People were friendly, don’t know if it was my Southern Accent 😁 but either way I had a great time relaxing at the Tavern.“

We absolutely loved the vibe and the service that we received. The cocktails were great! Between the two of us we got a gin based drink (purple rain) and a rum based drink (lock & key) and some truffle fries. We loved our drinks, and our bartender- absolute top notch service!

This place can get busy, so you’ll need reservations and you’ll need a password to get in. They’ve been open for about five years, so if you haven’t ventured in yet, definitely put this place on your list!

Limited (but too limited) selection of beers and alcohol which makes it easy to pick one without taking too much time. Bar staff have been around and seen some shit and they aren't going to put up with you're bullshit. They are very nice and super efficient, but they have people to serve. The prices are GREAT, incredible for downtown Boston. I love everything about this place.“

“Not only is The Substation in Roslindale perfect for the Workhub Community space, but they also have a full bar and public programming now! “I have 2 new favorites in Allston. One is a hotel and the other is Hobson’s. Great restuarant with a beautiful, comfortable, open interior, a friendly staff and good food. We had a pretty good size group (about 15) and started with apps, then moved on to a dinner including pizzas (get the meatball and ricotta), burgers, pasta and sausage. Drinks seemed to please everyone (though I stuck with the cider). The parking lot was also a nice plus. Highly recommended.“

While there, we were greeting by Matt, a talented bar-tender with a great personality & musical taste! Do not lose this guy! He is funny, thoughtful, skilled, and knowledgeable!
