“Walked in on a Friday afternoon. Bartender was absolutely fantastic. Old Fashioned was lovely. The Picklebacks though were the highlight of the trip. They make their own spicy pickle juice and I’m obsessed with it. I wish they bottled it and it was available for sale. I need the recipe. Best drinks we had in Boston all weekend.“

“Visited Harpoon after receiving rather gruff service from the Bruins Bar across the terminal. Luisa our waitress was more than happy to serve us with a smile and respect. The drink options are better, as there are actual options, and the food I cannot attest to but again, WAY more options. Overall, Harpoon has it down.“

People were friendly, don’t know if it was my Southern Accent 😁 but either way I had a great time relaxing at the Tavern.“

“Exceptional cocktail bar with very entertaining presentation! I got the Lock and Key which was an incredible milk punch with a lovely caramelized pineapple aroma and the Take Your Time, which was a unique old fashioned take that was complemented with savory toasted sesame! My partner got the Squid Games, which was very good as well. Our bartender Emma was very personable, walked us through the menu and helped us have a curated experience, and even provided tips on how to prepare milk punches. Exceptional service.

Price range was very reasonable in the 18-19 dollar per drink range. The atmosphere and lighting were lovely as well. We will definitely be coming back!“

“Holy moly! Rainy first night in Boston staying up the way at the Commonwealth we visited the Kenmore. Nathan took great care of us. Solid pour at the bar. Can I say enough about the K Burger? Likely not other than the first bite blows your mind. Quality over everything else. Great spot, will be back tonight and tomorrow night looking for Sturgill Simpson fans.“

“You need the reservation for a table on Sunday night. CLOUD Steak is good but the sauce is a little sour so it covers the steak instead of boosting its original taste, which would waste the fresh steak itself for me. The beef scallion pancake is such a perfect starter dish. Bar atmosphere is top-level. Impressive.“

This is not the usual Spanish place but it is more oriented on small plate ( really max 2 bites) and tapas. Larger plates are available but I didn’t try. Overall the quality is very good and great match of flavors. The seri d sis great and very friendly. Cost is not cheap… keep in mind that the portions are small so you need to order many plates. Recommended …. I am going back!“

This is an excellent spot to quench that thirst with a frosty beverage like I did for the first time in 1993 and again today waiting for a delayed flight while watching France defeat Paraguay. The surrounding area is much different than it was in the 90s, but the bar has not changed and is still a swell place to wet your whistle on a hot day.“
