“Might be my favorite bar I have ever walked into. Whiskey, bourbon, scotch selection is amazing, prices are fair, bartender was great, the bar itself if very cool. Only downside is I don't get to East Boston enough to go here every day. If you are anywhere near this place go.“

“I was in Boston for a day and needed something to eat to hold me down for a few hours. I found this place inside a whole foods. It was weird. Nobody was there to take my order. I thought it was closed, but the hours stated it was open. I noticed the option of placing my order online via a QR code. So I did. 10 minutes later my food arrived. For the record, it was 1 BBQ burger. It looked like something you'd get at McDonald's. And tasted like the Rodeo Cheeseburger at Burger King. Actually brought back lots of memories from my childhood. Really good in a junk food kind of way. The menu actually had lots of options, all fast food inspired. I would love to go back and try it all. A bit pricy tho. “The place itself was nice, clean, and comfortable, I ordered the brunch burger, and unfortunately it arrived cold. I’m sure it would’ve tasted much better if it had been hot. On the bright side, the fries were really good, crispy and flavorful. Overall, a good experience, but I hope the food temperature is better next time, especially coming from a restaurant associated with Gordon Ramsay.“

“First time at Cityside last night and it was great! The Nachos were so good I wish we had gotten a large, the buffalo wings had a nice crisp to them which made them amazing. For entrees I had the fish tacos which were good but not all that and my fiancé had the cheesesteaks which can’t be compared to cheesesteaks on the North shore but still good. The drinks were good but pretty pricey. My fiancé liked every drunk he got besides the Mai Tai. It was super nice being on the roof top which made the entire night 💕 I definitely would recommend.“

Just know the sandwiches are more of a knife and fork situation than a neatly engineered handheld sandwich. Not a complaint, just a heads up. Don’t let the “dive bar” label fool you—this place has an atmosphere that’s second to none. It’s family-owned and operated, and you can feel that personal touch the moment you walk in. The bartenders are incredibly friendly, and the patrons are just as welcoming. Whether you’re a regular or it’s your first time, you’ll feel right at home here.

It’s a spot with a lot of heart and zero pretension—a rare find these days. If you’re in the area and looking for a place with great vibes and even better people, The Shannon Tavern is it. Highly recommend stopping by for a drink (or two)!“

“Family style dinner which is nice because you get to try a couple of things. The chicken parm was huge and delicious! I would also recommend the arancini and we also split carbonara which was good but not as standout as the chicken parm. Everyone there was super friendly! We went on a Monday so it was pretty quiet but still a really nice vibe.“

“Roxy’s food truck catered an event at my job today and it was amazing. Between the grilled cheese selection, tomato soup, and tater tots it’s hard to pick a favorite. They were all amazing! The hot honey grilled cheese with bacon was addictive! Their team that did the set up and catered the event were so nice and friendly. If you get the chance to try their food do it! It will not disappoint.“

“Holy moly! Rainy first night in Boston staying up the way at the Commonwealth we visited the Kenmore. Nathan took great care of us. Solid pour at the bar. Can I say enough about the K Burger? Likely not other than the first bite blows your mind. Quality over everything else. Great spot, will be back tonight and tomorrow night looking for Sturgill Simpson fans.“

“Haven't been to this place in years but, boy sm I glad I did. Got a steak onion and cheese sub at 8 AM, because I could order that at what would be other shops " Breakfast only" time. Nice soft roll ,steak NOT chopped to oblivious gravel like other shops. This spot IS the spot for a steak and cheese . I'm gonna go back and try all the ol standards again done right. Kudos. Can't wait to try a simple hit dog. Believe it or not, people screw that up . But according to the reviews I've seen, they're done just right. It's really nice to know that these non pretentecious simply good food places still do exist.“

“Drifters is another welcome addition to the Quincy Bar/Restaurant scene. It’s in a great location on Hancock street a quick walk from the Kilroy Place parking garage or there is street parking. It has a really cool vibe to it with a lot of great energy and music. One of the things I love about this place is the diversity of the clientele. I’ve met groups in their 20’s/30’s and 50’s. The age groups all mix well and contribute to a chill atmosphere. Makes for a great spot to take a date or significant other. For food I’ve had to-go pizza which is very good and on a recent visit had a couple of things from the late night bar menu. My friend ordered a Bacon and Pineapple pizza something I normally wouldn’t consider but it was a fabulous combination of ingredients- it’s a MUST TRY (see my pic). We also had the spicy ranch fries which were incredibly flavorful and just the right amount of salt! They also have a very focused wine list that has some very high quality pics - try the Charles and Charles “Bolt” Cabernet, it’s big bold and juicy. Or the San Polo Rubio - a soft and silky Sangiovese blend. The drink is very creative and they have a great tequila selection (my fav is Tres Agaves Blanco). The beer on draft is remarkably cold - one of my pet peeves is warm draft lines. Overall this is a fantastic pic for food and nightlife. High on the recommended list!!“

“My opinion is 9.6/10. Came here because of man vs food did the 2 lbs burger. This place till this day has the juiciest burger meat I ever had was literally dripping down my arm, but not only juicy flavorful and highly enjoyable. “Great date night please the small cozy spot. It’s very difficult to get walking. It’s better to do a reservation earlier. The burgers were extraordinary. I even like that cocktails. The only problem was getting parking around that area.“

“I have now had Yeanie's on 6 different occasions, with tonight being the first time dining in. They somehow manage to make incredible burgers, chicken sandwiches and loaded fries that also travel well, I've yet to have a bad delivery experience.

Dining in was next level. The smash burger is an actual smash burger, not over smashed to the point it looks like lace, and not a traditional burger trying to pass as a smash. The bun is 10/10. Fries are the perfect amount of crisp. Decadent shakes. Just all around great stuff.“
