We wanted to like this bakery, we really did. The croissant and blueberry maple scone were quite good. The cinnamon roll muffin was bland and very dense. The confetti cupcake was literally inedible. It was as if the baker accidentally added *cups* of baking soda to the batter. If we were not already miles away when my daughter bit into it we would have gone right back. It was so, so bad. Hopefully a mistake. Just awful. Really unfortunate.
We recently hired Googans to cater for a celebration of life. We kept it simple with a cheese and veggie platter, sandwiches and sweets- finger food. Everything was absolutely delicious! People were raving about how good the sandwiches and desserts were. I absolutely recommend for catering and also to stop in their shop for breakfast and/or lunch. We were very happy with our whole experience with Googan’s.
Husband and I were here a few years ago, got the homemade pop tarts! Fantastic! The young lady who is the pastry chef was very nice as was the woman who cashed us out. We are from Syracuse NY and will definitely be back someday. Highly recommend this adorable place!
