We had our a rehearsal dinner at the brewery in late July. It was the perfect space for a relaxed gathering for our family and bridal party before our big day. Although the kitchen closed prior to having our event at the brewery, they were quick to let us know of the change and recommend caterers in the area (we went with Googans and they were great!). The bartenders were great. I highly recommend hosting your event at Great Marsh!

I guess people in the Gloucester/Essex area don't appreciate a good brewery. We came here on a Thursday night and the place was empty. The beer was great, the views were great, the building was great,.......where the F is everyone. We live in Western Mass and we have many much smaller local breweries that would be hopping on a Thursday night and they don't have these views. Come on people, this place is awesome!

Doug was the absolute best! We went on a day that is “technically” take out only and he was more than hospitable, letting us sit at the bar and giving a bit of history about the brewery. 10/10 would go back

No clue how the beer is. Arrived on a motorcycle trip 2 hrs after opening for lunch to a sign on door that kitchen is closed through may. We site said it would be through April no mention of may. No big deal walked to a local spot for food and came back to find the brewery to be closed 2 hrs after their maps says open and no answer on bar phones which wouldn't even ring out because the inbox is full. So we just left with no answer or knowledge of the new hours which they apparently have. Absolutely will not come back if this is how they run their business. Maps says updated less than 2 months ago so idk if it's simple oversight or sheer laziness on their part. But update your hours and food status as a restaurant.
