I’ve been going to The Village since 1961 and when it was sold years ago it was still the same great food. Lately however the management, service and prices have changed completely. Possibly Covid had quite an effect on the place. Last visit we waited for hostess, then waited for soft drinks and bread. Haddock and fish and chips came pretty quickly and was hot.
