“Destinie our bartender was great, all our drinks were on point. Unfortunately, my buddy Matt made us a delicious breakfast, so didn't order any food. I have say food looked and smelled great. Location is pretty cool, even though I really don't know the area. Definitely recommend it and be back.“

“What a fantastic find! We had a large group of families in town for a softball tournament, and the owner, Jody was amazing. She allowed us to make ourselves at home in the back room and worked like a magician to handle everyone's orders. Great pub food including wings, tots and fish n chips. Try the Salt n Vinegar wings! Such a friendly atmosphere - thanks to Jody and everyone at the Market Street Pub for making it at great night!

“I have had breakfast here w/ a group of HS graduate friends on numerous occasions.. The food was always good, and in spite of the variations ordered, delicious, hot, and served all at the same time. Waitresses were always pleasant, polite and good humored. (Image the ribbing they took from 6 to 10 older men! Friday, 3/15/24 ,my wife, my sister, my nephew and I had the dinner special for 2. Each :Cup of Chowder, 2 Clam Cakes, Fries, and Fish. EXCELLENT in every sense of the word and good portions! ( I also managed to consume a HUGE Strawberry Shortcake! ) I cannot praise enough the quality of the meal, service, and reasonable price. You owe yourself a trip and meal at this“

“As half of a hungry, grumpy couple heading north after a wonderful stay in Newport, we were about to give up on finding a 'decent' place for lunch. The Rt. 114 stretch was becoming increasingly barren.
Then The Publick House appeared on our left, with people sitting outside and a welcoming deep green 'home' drawing us in ... a crazy uturn at 65 mph got us there ...
The obvious sports bar atmosphere was very cool, with star-filled photos and jerseys covering every wall -- ALL signed by some of the greatest athletes to play professional sports in the USA -- a veritable paradise for fans and collectors alike.
Well, I've already spent too many words on a long-winded 'intro' ... but the food was over-the-top amazing ... from sweet-fried cauliflower bites to a queso-corn dip with tasty chips ... and fish and chips with fresh haddock ... and a California Bowl topped with perfectly grilled shrimp! Honestly, we were a bit shocked at the quality and the flavors .... and the welcoming service and attention from Nicole -- it was a very big WOW! .... and a perfect ending to our trip.
We will be back some time. And if you haven't had The Publick House ecperience, get there soon -- you will not regret it ...“

“How have I lived around here for 3 years and never gone here before?? Shame on me.
Food is great bar food. The wings...well if you have been here you KNOW! Beers are $1-$2 cheaper than almost any bar in the area.
Service is friendly, even when they are busy. It's a basement bar, so it's not the Ritz, but lots of TVs and the customers seem to be mostly regulars and friendly-ish.“
