12 Best Italian Restaurants near Fitchburg

“Our waitress was very pleasant and observant; offered refills, checked in with us often, and packed our extra food for us. The menu had a great selection and the food itself was hot and flavorful. The interior of the restaurant had a contemporary, clean, classic an artistic feel. Music was jazzy and classic as well and went great with the meal. Overall, great menu items and kind atmosphere!“

“Dario’s is a staple of quality date nights without breaking the bank. My wife and I can count on a good meal and beautiful clean environment. Live music is tasteful and everything feels more elegant but the portions are filling but not too much. The food is fresh and tasteful. The staff is friendly and attentive. The building remodel compliments the hard work performed in the state of the art kitchen. Great for family gatherings, date night, or casual default“

“We had a very good experience here. The food and service were fantastic. we will be back!“

“ok, so I'm not sure what happened tonight, but a far different experience from a few weeks ago. Then Iwas impressed with service, food, cocktails. the whole experience was just wonderful last time. after that girls night out, I raved to hubby "we got go there!" I work in Leominster, but live 45 mins away, so we usually dine out more local to home. Tonight started with an espresso martini...well, they've decided to top it with a cold foam type of topping. so the whole top have inch of the glass is foam, not beverage. martinis are expensive, a martini should be brim full, disappointed and felt cheated for the price. I ordered their boneless "jumbo chicken wings". turned out to be 6 little chunks of chicken, not much bigger than mcnuggets, and they were way over cooked to the point they were rock hard. I had to discreetly remove some from my mouth because they were beyond rock-hard. a dining companion in the group had the same experience with hers.the sauces I chose to accompany were tasty, but they didn't do much to help the chicken. the female bartender was great, attentive, and happy. wish I could rave, but not this time sadly.will try again because I don't think this was normal“

“Il Forno is our "go to" restaurant . It never disappoints . The food is amazing and my husband says the French onion soup is the best he's ever had . The staff and the owner Mike go out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable dining experience . 10 out of 10.. outstanding!!!“

“WOW!!! What an amazing experience we had! We were a group of 20 for my mother’s surprise birthday! They accommodated us and their staff was EXCEPTIONAL! Juliana was our waitress she didn’t skip a beat at all anything we needed or asked for she provided with a smile! The food was hot when served and it was DELICIOUS! I have a severe shellfish allergy and they made sure that my safety was an absolute priority! What a wonderful family restaurant! The portion sizes were also perfect and generous! We will definitely be returning!!!! Thank you all so much!!!!!“

“Had a large eggplant parm sub, it was huge! It was a little different than expected but was very good 😁

There was five of us and everyone was very happy with the food. The service was super fast, courteous, and friendly. Would definitely go back.

I'm not a gambler but there was Keno there for those who do play.“

“Been coming for 30+ years. Never had a bad meal but the chicken piccata is so good I have never ordered anything else for years. I don’t even order it as a dish at any other restaurant.“

“They have stellar bread for their subs. I had a dance competition down the street at the high school and needed to grab a few sandwiches on the fly. They were wicked fast! And the sandwich were all pretty good! I could have used a little more steak on the steak and cheese, but I'm nitpicking. My daughter said we should stop on the way home for more sub rolls. If I'm in the area and need fast food, this will be the place.“

“We had a take out. Got a lot of stuff. The bagging was not good. All boxes were piled on one another resulting in bottom boxes to smoosh and loose sauce. One bag almost tore due to the sauce which also means that one of the dishes resulted in barely any sauce.“

“I just had the best toasted turkey sub I’ve ever had! He does a great job !“

“This steak and cheese is top tier. It was hard to choose which one, so I ordered the MisSteak. 👌 in my top 3 and tied for first.“
