“Ordered through Doordash. The Doordash driver got the wrong order so I had to call the restaurant and they confirmed the issue, the owner went above and beyond and delivered the order herself.I usually order from them every week and now I love this place more than ever because of their customer service and how they care about their customers.Definitely recommend this place!!!Good job guys ?“
“Ashland Ale is a perfect little neighborhood restaurant on a grander scale. The food is good, the wait staff is good, the prices are fair, and the seasonal decorations are on a level all their own. Try the short ribs, try the burgers, and don't skip dessert. We live in Ashland and go there frequently. Never been disappointed.Parking: There are spaces. You park in them.“
“A nice little hidden gem off the beaten path in an upcoming Marlboro restaurant scene. Located down what seemed like a side alley, this two room dining place had a bar on one side and tables on the other. We sat in the bar area and you could see by all the patches they were law enforcement friendly. They had a nice selection of mixed drinks, but a small selection of beers. Our server was a nice down to earth older guy who was very patient with my wife's questions, lol. I had the Ultimate Chicken sandwich. It was definitely a hand breaded half a chicken breast with a really tasty sauce, and had nice hand cut fries. Wife ordered a bacon cheeseburger with a side salad. She ordered rare, and surprisingly it was perfectly done. The mound of bacon on top was more than I have ever seen“
“My wife and I had dinner last Friday. We both ordered fish and chips. The last visit we had chicken parm. The food is always good. The prices are surprisingly low. The daily specials are a really great value. Tried the fried eggplant sticks and they were awesome. This is a neighborhood restaurant with a large bar on one side and a family restaurant on the other side. Something for everyone.“
“Local bar, cheers type atmosphere where townies can come to get strong drinks, good quick food, and fast service. Make sure to bring cash though, they don't take cards!Parking: Large parking lot with plenty of parking, handicap spots availableKid-friendliness: I've brought my kids there for over 15 years, it's more of a bar atmosphere but families frequently come here specially for a quick dinner.Wheelchair accessibility: It's on the first floor with ramps to get in, tight hallway on the side entrance though so I recommend going through the front door“
“Anthony's on the Green is a true town gem. My family have enjoyed dining there for years. Nice to sit on the outdoor porch. We have been to several events there, but most recently a ran a fundraiser. Mike and his team are amazing to work with. So accommodating, quick response, and the kindest people. I would recommend Anthony's on the Green for a meal, or an event. Thanks Mike!!“
“I went on 2/9/24 with my wife and another couple. We split mussels two different ways (saffron cream sauce and white wine sauce) as appetizers. Large portions and delicious. For entrees we ordered cold smoked grilled pork chop, grilled salmon, seared scallops and prime rib. All in good portions and well matched with delicious sides. For dessert we had flourless chocolate cake and cheesecake with goat cheese and berries in a mason jar. The chocolate cake was great and the cheesecake was ambitious and interesting but a little too much goat cheese for us. The service was attentive, prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed dining experience. This is seriously great dining in Marlborough.“
“Food and service are great. Kind of a divey vibe, but a clean divey vibe. It's bar/pub food. Nothing fancy but everything is delicious! The waitstaff is very friendly and accommodating. Bar patrons are down to earth and seem to spend a lot of time there. They have fun music bingo and live music some evenings.“
“This place is better than it seems like it should be, if that makes sense. The first time we went it was a Monday night and our son was turning 21 at midnight and nothing else was open. Walking in at just after 11:30 to a group of somewhat rough looking regulars might have turned us around, but again, nothing else open. We told the bartender why we were there and to make sure he'd be OK serving him (MA has weird laws sometimes) and was assured no problem. At midnight, he had shots lined up for us, did a countdown, and then the whole bar (10 people maybe?) sang Happy Birthday. At one point the owner, hearing it was someone's birthday, came out with a cupcake and a birthday seat cover. How incredibly nice for non-regular randoms who came in late on a Monday night. A great reminder not to judge a book by its cover. In this case, both the bar and the patrons. We stayed until closing to play games and talk to some of the folks at the bar. It was a great experience. We've been back since to and every experience has been great. We played some darts and enjoyed some mixed drinks just last night and found, again, great bartenders and patrons. If you remember you're going to a dive bar, where every now and again the regular is going to get served before you and the food is "good enough", you'll have a great time. The most important part, the drinks, are always A+.“
“In walking distance to Napper's. Always great food. Great flavors, great menu. Its a chain and we also love the Walpole location (They have a bunch of pool tables and same great food). Thai/Buffalo cauliflower, Cali Burger and Cajun chicken tacos are some of our favorites!“
“Casey's is a local tavern with a tavern look and ambiance. It sits conveniently on the bike trail in Holliston.. A perfect place to brink walk or bike the trail and stop for a cold beer and chicken wings or other pub food. The service is incredibly slow with one waitstaff for the entire resturant so when it's full (and it fills up easily because if the quaint size you will wait a very long time. The bottle neck isn't necessarily the waitstaff fault but the back up is in the kitchen .. I am OK since I know this airhead of time and I for one don't want to rush chicken wings. Some times I just want a neighborhood bar or old tavern atmosphere. As a single women I feel safe and comfortable to go in alone... I just take a book and order a beverage.Also. Just to mention the bike trail and stop for a bite is perfect first meet up or date .“
“Burgers are really good at the 99. Our server last time was not very personable but usually they're friendly and attentive. We ate in the bar area so there's much more to watch but it's not especially quiet. Finally, house margaritas were $4.99 not bad!“
