“Dietary restrictions: They have Italian ice cream called gelato which is my husband's favorite ice cream, and I love the Berry Good sorbet. Their sorbets are dairy free. Yummy!
Parking: They are in the same place as Piro's Bakery in Pleasant Valley. Free parking, easy to get to.“

“Harbor Creamery in Newburyport is an absolute gem! I ordered the Maple Walnut ice cream in a waffle cone, and it was perfection. The ice cream was rich, creamy, and packed with the perfect balance of maple sweetness and crunchy walnut pieces. The waffle cone was the perfect addition to my dessert! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the coastal atmosphere made it a fantastic stop while exploring the area. If you’re in Newburyport, treat yourself to a scoop—or two!“

“During the summer you can get the ice cream from outside, in the winter you go into the shop. There is a good selection, and the flavors taste good. Bunch of young workers, so keep that in mind. Unfortunately they don't have a bathroom inside for customers which was pretty disappointing.“

“We wanted to have our ice cream outside, but the granite benches near the little park just to the right of the store looked dirty and possibly sticky, and could use a good cleaning, so we ate inside instead. Truth be told, we don't know if those benches are part of the ice cream store's property, or responsibility, but having them cleaned would make for a better dining experience outside.
Kid-friendliness: Lots of things hanging on the walls to entertain kids in another whole wall of youth baseball teams that they have sponsored“

“Another delicious visit to Hodgies Too. We love to check out their Facebook for mouthwatering pix of their special flavors and then head down for the real thing, smooth and creamy and full of yummy add-ins. Servings are large!. If you want something smaller but with the same great taste, order the Hodgie Cup size. It's a great deal!“

“Lovely view of the field out back while enjoying the wonderful ice cream that they get from Richardson's Diary in Middleton. If you're lucky (like we were!), a brazen little bunny might join you by the picnic tables to feast on all the clover popping up! So cute!“

“If your kid is under 40 inches you get a kids size ice cream FREE. No $4 ice cream like other places where 1/2 ends up melting, 1/4 all over them and they only eat 1/4. Home made too. Delish!“

“Love this place. Very friendly people and a lot closer than Richardson’s.“
“Great ice cream. Unbelievable that they actually charge people for the mini golf. What a mess. Course has not been maintained in years. We asked for a refund after 2 holes.“

“Stillwells is a hidden gem in Plaistow. Don't let the plaza dissuade you, this is the best ice cream in the area. The servers are super speedy and friendly and prices are very reasonable for Richardson's ice cream. Don't miss out on the prepacked gallons, ice cream pies, or ice cream sandwiches. We're here probably more than we should be.“

“Best Dairy Queen Experience Ever!!
I don’t know what Dairy Queen is putting in their blizzards but, I think they’ve also sprinkled some magic into their employees. There was a young, tall, brown-haired guy working last night who deserves an award. Not only did he serve my Blizzard upside down with confidence, but he also made the whole experience top-tier with his friendly attitude and quick service.
If Dairy Queen had a Hall of Fame, this guy would be in it. Give him a raise, or at least unlimited dipped cones for life! 10/10 will be returning soon!“

“The dark roast coffee of the day was fantastic! The atmosphere was inviting and the baristas were so sweet and friendly! Definitely recommend this shop!“
“We had a great time at Crescent farm. The best thing about it was the cider donuts, that were warm and fresh. You have to try the Apple Cider Donut sundae!! It doesn’t show on the menu but it was the best we’ve ever had. I have been dreaming about it since. Hoping they are open this weekend when family is here to take them down.“

“They were short staffed so they informed us it would be 5-10 minutes to be seated. We ordered our entree and dessert all at once and everything came in a timely manner perfectly. Great service even with staff shortage.“

“Love the options here!! The staff are literal angels on Earth, and you would be hard pressed to find poor quality food here. I love their smoothies, coffees, energy balls, meals, and brownies. Anything they make is great, and the prices are hard to beat for the quality.
Also, the breakfast burrito is huge. Definitely recommend!
They are usually very quick, too! Only takes ~5 minutes for me to order, pay, get my smoothie and other treats, and leave. They are so quick!! And if that's not quick enough, you can order in advance, and they will have things ready for you.
You know it's also a great spot when a lot of the people at my school know about the place, and like it, too. Several of them know staff members by name, it really says a lot, right?
Definitely worth a visit, I love this place so much!!
Vegetarian options: They have a lot of veggie options, and everything is highly customizable. Just make a request, and the staff will most likely be able to do it!
Dietary restrictions: All of the food is clearly labeled, food is customizable. They are especially good about common allergens like gluten, peanuts, and diary.
Parking: There is no designated parking lot for A Sweet Affair. HOWEVER, you should be able to find parking on the side of the street most of the time! There are also nearby gas stations that you may opt to park at, both of which are a short walk from A Sweet Affair.
Kid-friendliness: A Sweet Affair is not tailored to children, but I would consider it to be child friendly for a few reasons!
•Child friendly menu options. They have a good variety of things here, from the healthy to the more indulgent. They have oatmeal, ice cream, cookies, fruity and decadent smoothies. Not only that, their menu options are highly customizable, so if your child doesn't like a particular ingredient, it is very easy to swap it out!
•Decor is vibrant and colorful! There is a lot to admire or look at in there for a kid. Bookshelves, fruit decor, tables with knickknacks. It isn't too overstimulating, either. Very comfortable place.
•Staff members are inviting, friendly, and easy to talk to! They usually have a lot of nice things to say and can probably entertain a child or communicate with a child clearly. They also have good recommendations.
Wheelchair accessibility: This place is fairly accessible!
There is no level difference in the outside to the inside, it is completely flat. There are no steps to worry about. The door might not be especially wide, but I think it's wide enough to fit a wheelchair.
The area is broad, and there are no tight areas to squeeze into in A Sweet Affair! Everything is very easy to reach. Should be comfortable enough to navigate.
There is no automatic door opening button, but the staff members will come and help if they see any struggling.
Staff members can make accommodations if asked, and they will communicate clearly.“
