“I can’t say enough about Soc’s. We live in Boston and although we love visiting new ice cream stands, Soc’s has become our go-to place and a tradition. From a customer’s perspective it’s just a fantastic business. The ice cream is consistently excellent, as is the service. Both are exactly what you’d hope to find at an ice cream stand. The hours and fantastic, and they have a longer season than any other ice cream stand I know of. It feels like the summer is extended by months.There isn’t anything I would change.“

We decided we were getting hungry and, and noticed a pizza shop across the tracks. None of us really wanted pizza, but we headed that way anyway. As we got closer we saw the sign for LULU's LUNCHBOX next to the pizza shop, and decided to check it out. Best decision ever!!!. I had never even heard of a Shawarma before, but they offered both beef & chicken. A Shawarma is very much like a wrap sandwich, but huge. The young girl in the shop told us that everything was made fresh daily, and this was evident as she cooked the beef & chicken fresh for us. I got the Beef Shawarma, and I have to say, it was absolutely delicious. Both of my companions got the Chicken shawarma, and it theirs looked just as good. The Lunchbox is small with one table, and extremely clean & friendly. I finished my shawarma, and even though I was full, my taste buds wanted more. I regret not ordering one to go for dinner. I've never experienced such an open and inviting and patient coffee place. They will go overboard to make your coffee hit exactly what you need it to. In warmer weather there are tables out front to eat at. In colder weather there is seating on the inside that is comfortable and clean.“

“Can't believe I've lived in Andover since 1983 and have never been here. The adventure began with the aroma of chocolate when you walk in - amazing. I did a quick jog through the candy store and vowed to take my granddaughters here during their next visit. Next ordered lunch: chicken BLT which was so fresh. Bacon was crispy and they remembered to not add guacamole. Next came the sundae: their list in-house of flavors that are made on site doesn't match the online list (butter crunch ) but the substituted butter pecan was delicious. My only complaint of the day was that the rich, flavorful butterscotch sauce was room temp and not at all heated. All staff were friendly and attentive. Everything felt nostalgic which was so nice. The girl who initially helped me was super kind and patient and made sure she’d understood my order. After realizing I only had large bills, I ran out to find a place nearby that might have change. “We go to Nella's Pizza at least once a week. It's my kid's favorite pizza place. They are by far my favorite non-wood burning stove pizza place. Everyone is extremely friendly and I've never had bad service from them. During the summer they also sell Gelato which is a nice treat on a hot day.“

“Extremely reasonable for the size of the ice cream! Ordered a small and it was HUGE! S’mores ice cream was delicious. Also the only place I’ve ever been that puts sprinkles on the bottom and the top of the ice cream (like I do at home), so that was a pleasant surprise. Super “

“Great variety of flavors and really good portions! No joke… a kiddie is enough for one person, the small is pretty big. Friendly staff and good service. Only drawback is the line can get long (especially in the summer) but that is because they are so good. No indoor seating and minimal outdoor seating but there is plenty of places to park, so I usually just eat from my car.“

They even sell my favorite soda, Moxie, by the bottle! Because this is a small, locally owned and operated business, there is going to be a variation in the service. “I’ve been here many times. The professionalism of some of the scoopers is commendable. However, I have to leave 4 stars because I tend to see a group of teenage boys (usually) simply sitting in the back on their phone and leaving the girls to get to work. Two of the girls stuck out in particular. Elena and Emmy! They are always at the window working hard, while some of their counterparts sit back contributing nothing to the staff even during the busiest of summer days. Some of the other girls put forth their best efforts as well, but those two girls always remember my daughter’s order and are very sweet. I wish some of the boys put in that much effort!“

“This place is attached to Mikes which has a huge menu and lots of food options. (Hope to try someday) They have a decent size parking lot. It is March and they didn't have the outside window open to order and only one kid working the ice cream stand. After seeing the line of a nice warm sunny Saturday you would think since they have lot of all the staff on the line one would hop over the help the kid. Stood in an awkward line for a bit inside kind of overage of the food counter. Soft serve in a waffle cone w/sprinkles and richies ice slush was like $10 a little steep but I guess what isn't now a days. They have delivery options as well like doordash, uber, grubhub if interested.“

“End of September 2023 we are here. The business is very busy and a lot of traffic in and out. First time here and I spoke to others here today who said they love it here and the ice cream flavors. Many have been coming for years and are loyal customers. We had single scoop ice cream on a waffle cone. I used to make home made ice cream for a restaurant and know when it is flavored well. I had the cookies and cream which was chocolate ice cream, and had good flavor to it. I'm not here to eat a pint of ice cream at once so the one scoop was plentiful. About $5 for a small which is a single scoop, again plenty for me. I also picked up a doggy cup which was just under $5. But there was plenty of vanilla cream in the cup with a large cookie on top. Many places give a very small amount of cream and a small milk bone and charge $5 for a doggy bowl. There was plenty for my dog to eat. We were here for 25 minutes and counted about 30 cars in and out with loads of people waiting in line, on this cloudy and cooler afternoon. I would have to say that Benson's is doing something right to draw in this many people on a cloudy September evening. I am sorry those others have had a not so great visit. Perhaps you might take a break for a bit and come back with an open mind. You may have a better opinion.“

“Small J.P Licks located at MarketStreet in Lynnfield. There's free parking available in the plaza. There is seating available inside too. I usually get their milkshakes or Sundaes and they're delicious! Today I had the peanut butter cookies n cream milkshake and a container with 4 cookies'n'cream truffles. It was yummy :P The location is clean and well kept. The employees are also kind and offer samples when trying to decide between different flavors. I did have to wait 14 minutes today to be helped because there was only one person working. Perhaps it's because it's winter time and there's not a lot of traffic coming to the store. My suggestion would be to have two people during busy hours (typically lunch times 12-3) Not only will this enhance the customer experience but also the employees' experience because they won't feel overwhelmed. Overall great location. It's even better during the summer time when the plaza has more seating, greenery and nicer set up. They're close late at night making those summer nights even more enjoyable.“
