“Breakers is my preferred ice cream shop in Woburn even though I have another shop much closer. Ordering is efficient, orders are fulfilled accurately and quickly, and employees resolve any issues quickly and respectfully. Flavors are posted legibly and the variety of flavors is excellent. There is a parking lot, which is nice, and indoor seating and ordering which is helpful in the winter.“

“I stopped in after dinner with my date to finally try this place out and we were blown away.

First off: the flavors are amazing. They are both well thought of combinations and absolutely high quality products. This is artisan level ice cream. It is very dense and rich. It kind of reminds me of Italian gelato in a way. I loved the cones as well. You can order a 1, 2, or 3 scoop in a cone or cup. Or cone kind of looking thing in a cup.

The staff here was super nice and friendly. Thank you for your professionalism! I love the atmosphere of the store and it was very modern, clean, and intriguing. I wanted a cone as soon as I walked in.

Price wise, be prepared for expensive ice cream. In my opinion it was worth the purchase for how exceptionally better it was than the vast majority of places I’ve tried around town.

“Today a group of us visited Gerly’s ice cream and we were most pleasantly impressed by the real freshness of the flavors like everything stood out. Nothing was muddled. The bananas were real. The fig was real. The goat cheese was real. It just was so natural tasting. We also really enjoyed talking with the “man behind the counter.” He said he was a cousin of the owner. He was super knowledgeable and informed us about the ice cream workshops and about how people from near and far came for the nut free ice cream options. I would really like the decor and the interior of the store to match the richness and decadence of the ice cream itself. The look of the store does not quite match the awesomeness of the ice cream. Please try this ice cream… it is so good! Some of the best ice cream I have ever had!“

“I've been going to Meltharb for years and their homemade ice cream is delicious and their list of flavor options is huge. Recently I had to give up dairy and tried their new Almond milk ice cream (made in-store) and it's delicious! so glad I can still enjoy their ice cream.“

“It was really cute shop and I liked the ice cream. I walked down to the Kennedy Greenway and took in the skyline views with it. Great night!

I took off one star cause the ice cream is close to being perfect, but not quite. The cookie dough ice cream just simply didn’t have enough cookie dough bites in it. We all know those are the best part so what are we skimping for!

The cake batter ice cream had too many sprinkles for my taste. It’s already a very sweet flavor so it would be nice to have the option to add sprinkles instead.

On the other hand, the fruit and sorbet style flavors were perfection!

Last point, the employees all seemed like they hated their lives here. I respect that ofc cause I’ve worked many jobs that I hate, but it gave me the sense something could be done behind the scenes to make it a better work environment.

I don’t mean to sound too harsh cause clearly this place is great! But that’s my two cents, keep going!“

“Always drive by but never stopped. This weekend we finally stopped and it’s was really good! Prices were reasonable and the girls at the window were very friendly! “If you know anything about ice cream , you know that Mac's serves some of the best icecream made. They are open year round. Why eat icecream in winter you ask? Well , It's delicious for starters but it doesn't melt as fast in the cold. The pistachio is my favorite. The pistachio they serve is my benchmark for all other pistachio icecream. IT can not be beat. Flavor is spot on. And it's loaded with nuts. SMALL PISTACHIO WITH JIMMYS IN A CUP WITH A CONE PLEASE.“

We did a make your own sundae bar for Teacher Appreciation Week and it was a huge hit(60)! Working with Joe to get everything ordered and organized was a piece of cake! Liz delivered to our school and was so helpful, showing me how to use the warmer and even helping to unpack the ice creams into the freezer. “Toscanini's has been my favorite ice cream spot for over 20 years. Even as I've moved around and lived in other cities, I always make a point to visit whenever I'm back in the Boston area. But a recent experience cemented my loyalty for life.

On Presidents' Day, our family showed up around 5 pm, not realizing the shop was closed for the holiday. When we couldn't open the door, we started knocking, thinking it was just stuck. Gus, the owner, came out and let us know they were closed for the day, but then asked us what we were looking for. We told him we were hoping to grab a pint, and he told us to wait just a moment. A few minutes later, he came back with a big bag full of different pints and let us walk away with two of them, suggesting we could come back and pay another day when they were actually open (or perhaps he didn't care!). We came back and paid two weeks later.

“What I love about Van Leeuwen is that it's the only Ice Cream store that's open late. After dinner in the Seaport with 3 friends we decided to go get Ice Cream. It was 10pm and Van was the only late night Ice Cream store in the Seaport. That was very helpful and we all order a triple scoop. It's also the best tasting ice cream in the neighborhood.“

We also wanted to try the arancini- made with prosciutto instead of ground beef. You can take it to go but we decided to stay and eat. Beautifully decorated. The owner Stefano was so nice and checked on us to see if we needed anything. As we were leaving we stopped at the gelato counter and got a gelato to go. I had the oreo. Soooo good! “Really incredible - creamy, perfect consistency, nice flavors including a plain sweet cream (which can be difficult to find), and some fun ones like right now fresh rose, also sweet corn is incredibly delicious. I also enjoyed the burnt sugar flavor. A Cambridge classic. Would highly recommend the homemade whipped cream as well. This is my favorite ice cream in Cambridge by far! Probably in my top 5 in the state too“

The ice cream was delicious, with just the right balance of flavor — not overly sweet like many others. It was refreshing and satisfying.

What truly made the experience special was Mónica’s service. She was empathetic, kind, and patient — qualities that are becoming rare these days and that we deeply appreciated.
