“Had a great Chocolate Chip here the past couple of years, and it's my go-to. Seriously delicious. Most recently, I decided to try the Rocky Road and was sadly disappointed. For some reason, they added almond extract - much too much almond extract that left bitter notes lingering on the palette. Unfortunately this overpowered everything else including the chocolate; a chocolate based ice cream should be chocolate forward. Instead of actual toasted almonds, which would have given that pleasing pop of nutty almond flavor, they used walnuts that, naturally, got soft and spongy. I had to try and figure out what that strange texture was that I was biting into. The marshmallow was some sort of sauce, had a very slimey mouth feel to it, and there was way too much in it turning the cone into a slimy, instead of creamy, treat. I don't think I've ever thrown out ice cream before until then. And it makes me sad because it's so simple to make an excellent Rocky Road. I honestly believe I chose the worst possible alternative, and thats completely on me (but if you want to bring someone you hate a treat, bring them this one).

“not just an ice cream spot. this cute dessert shop offers delightful Vietnamese drinks & dessert specialties such as che ba mau and banh lot.

visited here twice. first time had their Vietnamese iced coffee - absolutely delicious. very hard to find good, authentic coffee and Hao Ngot delivered. came here again for coffee and did not disappoint!

had their che ba mau (rainbow ice/tri-color dessert). it was passable. nothing outstanding. combination of mung beans, jelly, red beans, and coconut milk was good. what was lacking, to me, was the jelly could've been more flavorful. it was pretty bland and left the rest of the ingredients to carry the weight. I would've enjoyed a sweet jelly that you can taste when eating it w coated coconut milk.

overall I do thoroughly enjoy my drinks & dessert and would definitely return. their menu is plentiful so there is always something new to try. very cutely decorated, spacious, and cleaned!“

“I should have taken a picture. I had a large heath sundae with some changes. Heath bar ice cream, frozen pudding, butterscotch, peanut butter, marshmallow, cherry and nuts. OMG. It was huge and overflowing. The heath ice cream tasted more like plain vanilla, but that is okay. It was so creamy and smooth. I literally savored it as I was eating. So good. They have many flavors, cones, Sundaes, and banana boats. Some frozen drinks too.“

“MOTW has the best chai in the city. I love the soft, creamy, silky texture of their Yemeni chai. I love the way they decorated the 38th st location, very inclusive and powerful pictures. Great spot to get some work or reading done. Also love their prayer or meditation area. It’s such a wonderful coffee shop. Usually Raadia is there when we go and she’s such a kind and friendly soul, always so helpful and customer focused.“

“My husband and I get our daughter an icecream cake every year here for her birthday... Every year they have done an amazing job!!!! But this year.... They absolutely outdid themselves!!!! My daughter asked for a Jojo Siwa cake and boy did they deliver!!!! They didn't have a picture for Jojo Siwa and asked if I could email them the picture I wanted. Which was super easy!!! The woman I spoke to was so sweet!!! (I think she said Tina was her name?) I emailed the picture right over and they had it done in no time.... When I saw it I was absolutely in love!!! But When my daughter saw the cake she started happy crying saying how beautiful it came out and how it was better than what she had ever dreamed of.... She said it was the best cake she has ever had!!! Thank you guys so much for making her birthday extra special!!! ❤“
