“MOTW has the best chai in the city. I love the soft, creamy, silky texture of their Yemeni chai. I love the way they decorated the 38th st location, very inclusive and powerful pictures. Great spot to get some work or reading done. Also love their prayer or meditation area. It’s such a wonderful coffee shop. Usually Raadia is there when we go and she’s such a kind and friendly soul, always so helpful and customer focused.“

“not just an ice cream spot. this cute dessert shop offers delightful Vietnamese drinks & dessert specialties such as che ba mau and banh lot.

visited here twice. first time had their Vietnamese iced coffee - absolutely delicious. very hard to find good, authentic coffee and Hao Ngot delivered. came here again for coffee and did not disappoint!

had their che ba mau (rainbow ice/tri-color dessert). it was passable. nothing outstanding. combination of mung beans, jelly, red beans, and coconut milk was good. what was lacking, to me, was the jelly could've been more flavorful. it was pretty bland and left the rest of the ingredients to carry the weight. I would've enjoyed a sweet jelly that you can taste when eating it w coated coconut milk.

overall I do thoroughly enjoy my drinks & dessert and would definitely return. their menu is plentiful so there is always something new to try. very cutely decorated, spacious, and cleaned!“

“I should have taken a picture. I had a large heath sundae with some changes. Heath bar ice cream, frozen pudding, butterscotch, peanut butter, marshmallow, cherry and nuts. OMG. It was huge and overflowing. The heath ice cream tasted more like plain vanilla, but that is okay. It was so creamy and smooth. I literally savored it as I was eating. So good. They have many flavors, cones, Sundaes, and banana boats. Some frozen drinks too.“

“We went for Easter with a 2yo and a 6yo and had a good time. The kids were happy and so the adults. As other people commented is not really an egg hunt, because the eggs and colorful ball are all around the garden. But I knew it before going and explained the kids in advance so they weren’t disappointed. You fill the basket with eggs and need to return to exchange for a goodie bag with some candy, Easter chocolates and coloring sheet, stickers, a ring, balloon and a few more things. Not much but really enough. Plus can have an ice cream sandwich! The place is really nice, and there were a few activities to do outdoors plus an indoor room with plenty of toys and bouncy castle. It was overall a fun and lovely experience.“

What really meant the world to us was how they created a special no/low-fat, low-sugar meal just for my husband. They didn’t just “make it work” they made it delicious. “Went to Meolas ice cream today only to find out that the hours have changed and they don’t open until 2:15. It was barely 1:00. The owner, Mr Meola, came to the window to tell us about the change and there were no workers there yet. I had two little grandkids and an elderly aunt and uncle that were a little disappointed. Mr Meola took the time to make all 5 ice creams himself as other customers were pulling in also thinking they were open. He took the time to wait on each and every car that pulled up even though he was closed. I had four very happy campers and I’m willing to bet that the other people he helped never even knew he was closed. Thank you, Mr Meola, that was so very kind.“
