“We are an entertainment service company that specializes in small ensemble/DJ combos. We performed at our first wedding at The Herb Lyceum in early October and were blown away. First of all, the garden and grounds are LOVELY, the food is OUTSTANDING and the staff were all WONDERFUL. Everyone there was friendly and professional, and truly allowed us to do what we do best, and we felt fully supported to do our jobs. Often with outdoor venues, we have issues with power, but not here! We had ample power for the ceremony, dinner reception and the dance party under the tent, running some heavy wattage sound and lights. We very much look forward to coming back to do more events in the future!”

“My colleagues and I visited this establishment directly following our performance at GrotonFest, which was held nearby. The staff was very courteous and obliging. Lauren, our server, was particularly pleasant. We shared some lighthearted conversation, and our food was served promptly. The meal was substantial, the staff was friendly, and the view was extraordinary. The Rusty Randoms highly recommend Forge and Vine!”

“Enjoyed a flight of craft beer and a delicious Lobster roll with excellent coleslaw. One small criticism. Didn't want fries (although my wife got them with her excellent haddock plate and they were very good) However, I wanted onion rings and had to order them as an appetizer and there were just too many so most went to waste. Clean and bright atmosphere, friendly service as well.”

“It's quaint and small but it's all about the food. Unique collection of specialty pizzas, salads, and subs. Great steak tips, and we thoroughly enjoyed a spicy sauce pie. Definitely not Italian style per se, but a great Turk/Arm type crust that's really good.”

“Service is good. Never had an issue with most of the staff. I order in the afternoon normally, so they are quick but occasionally mess up an order. We are all human though I guess. Inside is nice, they keep it clean.
Any issues that arise are typically from the middle schoolers or kids from Lawrence Academy being loud or harassing stuff.”

I’m a huge pancake lover and I’ve had them just about everywhere but nothing compares to blueberry pancakes that were here! Unbelievably good! My husband ordered a veggie breakfast bowl and he also raved about how good it was. The food didn’t feel overly greasy and make you regret it after eating. It was good quality, good cooking. Ice coffee was also the best, could you tell me what brand? We don’t live close by but we’ll definitely be back. Also, staff was super nice! Than you so much!”

“I have been here a bunch of times. Cookies are really good but really sweet so most people (like myself) can't have more than a few bites at a time. I think the creativity of the cookies switching up each week is cool along with them having a wide selection like the cakes, ice cream, and the warm and cold cookies. The smell in the shop as well is nice with a cookie smell. The cookies are almost always warm when we get them. If you have the app, you get rewards as well which is nice. I think the only reason why it is a 4 star and not 5 is because some of the cookies taste the same and way to sweet for the average human.”
