Can’t go wrong with a grinder and a beer!
I don't get this place as far as the quality of the pizza is concerned. Their Amhest pizza is the best, so good you can't stop. Get any other pizza and it's meh, at best. There's a weird white, cheap tasting nachos like cheese they put on some of these that just ruin it. A plain ole pepperoni is just blah, the easiest one to make. What I don't get is the pizzas by the slice look amazing, a far cry from what you pick up.
Good for a basic lunch as well as a proper meal. It's the best place around to quickly grab a pre-prepared slice of pizza; for dinner the California Dreamin' specialty grinder is the best vegetarian grinder option I know of in the area. The ambience is pleasant and I think strikes a happy medium that would work for most people's tastes: it leans lightly casual with some little traditional flourishes, and there's the bar atmosphere but definitely still family-friendly.
