“it was our first time eating here. place was busy. we had a party of 5. we were told a 45 min wait and it was only about 15 min. Food was excellent. Great portions, tasted wonderful! Next time we are on the Cape we will be back!“

“Visiting the Cape from West Coast and tried Drifters. Simply put, this is a great place. Pre-dinner drinks in bar were top notch. Menu has typical dishes with unique and high end twist. Fresh oysters and short rib pasta were so delicious. Highly recommend.“

So many places fall down on the wine list and pairing knowledge, this is not the case at The Pheasant. Texture, taste, ingredients, presentation, wine pairings, all were spot on! “We happened to be in Orleans and decided to grab an early dinner at The Barley Neck. We started with a dozen raw oysters and a bottle of French Chardonnay. The oysters were so fresh and delicious we ordered a second dozen. My husband had a lobster pasta dish for his entree and I had a Thai style tuna steak. Both were delicious, but a special thumbs up for the tuna. It was without a doubt the BEST tuna steak I’ve ever had! We finished with the pineapple upside down cake special! O.M.G. Everything was consistently amazing. The service was attentive and welcoming! From beginning to end the experience as a whole was on point! 10 out of 10!“

Extremely reasonable pricing for exceptional quality. Putting it into our rotation for date night. And did I mention price fixe menu every evening all evening ( except only till 6 on Saturday)?“

My go to dinner is always the clam chowder and a plate of the best tuna sashimi ever!!

Nothing beats drinking a quality cocktail made by the best employees while watching the ocean views! Everyone I encountered was kind, friendly and professional. I'm hoping to recognize a few staff members who went above and beyond to provide an outstanding experience; Mikey, David and Leia (sorry if mispelled) provided the best drinks, even researching what I liked that wasn't on the menu. Had the calamari and that was excellent and came out hot and fresh. The complimentary valet was a major plus! Would highly recommend!!“
