“it was our first time eating here. place was busy. we had a party of 5. we were told a 45 min wait and it was only about 15 min. Food was excellent. Great portions, tasted wonderful! Next time we are on the Cape we will be back!“

We sat at the bar and talked with the owner all night and got the full story of how Drifters came to be. Incredible experience - We even bought a hoodie on the way out! “We happened to be in Orleans and decided to grab an early dinner at The Barley Neck. We started with a dozen raw oysters and a bottle of French Chardonnay. The oysters were so fresh and delicious we ordered a second dozen. My husband had a lobster pasta dish for his entree and I had a Thai style tuna steak. Both were delicious, but a special thumbs up for the tuna. It was without a doubt the BEST tuna steak I’ve ever had! We finished with the pineapple upside down cake special! O.M.G. Everything was consistently amazing. The service was attentive and welcoming! From beginning to end the experience as a whole was on point! 10 out of 10!“

“We had dinner at The Pheasant, the service was warm and professional, the surroundings were intriguing and welcoming and the food….. the food was thoughtful, creative, and downright delicious. It’s the kind of meal where you talk about the taste, keep sharing bites and keep eating long past when you are satiated because it just tastes and feels so good. So many places fall down on the wine list and pairing knowledge, this is not the case at The Pheasant. Texture, taste, ingredients, presentation, wine pairings, all were spot on! Extremely reasonable pricing for exceptional quality. Putting it into our rotation for date night. And did I mention price fixe menu every evening all evening ( except only till 6 on Saturday)?“

“Sat at the bar because it was so crowded and didn't make res. We each had the clams and mussels in a broth that was heavenly. That and bread made a perfect meal. My friend enjoyed a martini and said it was excellent. Good food on my report card. Second time I've been here. Recommend it.

“A great place with great food and friendly service. The lobster bisque is the best I’ve ever had. The grilled lobster and cheese sandwich is to die for. I’ve had grilled swordfish here and always cooked to perfection. For the quality and quantity of food, the prices are really reasonable. I’ll be back!“
