Due to COVID, we couldn’t go up to the bar to order drinks and that worried me initially, thinking there would be a long wait for a server with a ton of guests. I was terribly wrong. Every single server was personable and the service was phenomenal. Alex in particular was amazing!!! The high-level service was even more amazing considering they said it was their first wedding since COVID started. My cup was never empty for more than one minute. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for bartenders for a special event.“

“Came here for the matchbooks which were at the host table and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food! The corn bread with honey whipped butter was DELECTABLE !!! The truffle Parmesan fries were okay but tbh could do with out the truffle add on. Also ordered the lamb ribs and oysters which were good. The waiter was so kind and friendly and helped me make a custom lemonade cranberry drink. We sat outside and the vibes were incredible. Would recommend !“

“My husband and I stopped by here for after dinner drinks and had a wonderful experience sitting at the bar. The bartender Juan was knowledgeable and let us try a variety of port and Maideria wines. It was a great experience and we felt like we were in a wine tasting in Portugal. He was very attentive and made the experience phenomenal. The ambiance was also very nice. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone in the area and don’t sleep on the Port wine!“

“We were a family of three visiting Boston and after reading through the multitude of choices of restaurants and reviews, Clink was on my list to get reservations. This restaurant is in the Liberty Hotel, which if you've been to NYC it has the same vibe as the Roxy Hotel and the Beekman. I made reservations for a Saturday night at 7:15 and when we arrived the restaurant only had a few other couples there dining. I'll address this more at the end. Our server recommended a few choices of cocktails. My husband chose the Barrel Aged Old Fashioned and I chose the Crime of Passion. Both were excellent!! Both cocktails were by far the best we had the entire trip, and we had a cocktail or two at dinner each night during our five-night stay. Hats of to the bartender making those!! Although we really didn't see an appetizer that we could agree on we were served some outstanding rolls and butter. I'm not a big bread fan, but these were hot, soft, and had a great flavor. For our dinners I chose the Crispy Skin Farm Raised Salmon, my husband chose the Hand Cut Pasta Bolognese, and our son chose the Gulf of Maine Blue Cod. We all agreed each dish was prepared and presented perfectly and all three had wonderful flavors with no complaints. We didn't think we had room for dessert until we were told the options and one option was Peach Bread Pudding!! We found room for dessert and in hindsight wish we asked for one to go for the next day. It's a must try!! The atmosphere was great, the service was great (and the manager was walking around making sure everyone was enjoying themselves), the cocktails amazing, and the dinner and dessert was wonderful, so this left us asking "why is this place not packed on a Saturday night"? The only hiccup was when you walked into the hotel lobby it felt like they were having air conditioning problems, but the restaurant was not having that issue. So hopefully this was just some weird off night for this restaurant and hopefully more people have a wonderful experience like we did and leave great reviews. I know that if we come back to Boston, Clink is on our list to dine at again.“

“A lovely restaurant with great service, a charming setting, and plenty of memorable dishes. The staff was attentive and made the experience feel special. The fried cauliflower stood out, and using the warm bread from the shrimp and garlic dish to enjoy the sauce made it even better. For entrees, the herb-crusted lamb chops and roasted branzino are both excellent options. A perfect place whether you’re in the mood for a seafood feast or a flavorful meat dish.“

“This place was AMAZING! We were served at the bar by David, who was fantastic to begin with. He really knew his stuff, made incredible drinks, and was fun to talk to.

The atmosphere was so lively and fun. A great date night spot, or spot for small groups of friends to hangout!

The food was very good. The tuna crudo was light and delicious. The patatas bravas were mouth watering. You really can't go wrong with anything you order.

Churros were the perfect way to end the night.

10/10 experience, could not recommend it enough. It is a quite busy and popular place so can be hard if you don't have reservations.

“This place is fantastic! We highly recommend making a reservation, as it’s a small restaurant and fills up quickly. We stopped in on a Saturday around 5 PM and were lucky enough to grab seats at the bar.

The wine selection is outstanding, with plenty of great options to choose from. We ordered the veal, which was enormous and easily large enough to share. We also tried both the truffle pasta and the vodka pasta, with the vodka pasta being our favorite. The portions were generous, the food was delicious, and the pricing felt very reasonable for the area.

A wonderful experience overall! I would definitely return and highly recommend it.“

“Can’t say enough good things about our experience at Capri! We came in to celebrate our friend finishing her cancer treatments, and they made an already incredibly special night even more unforgettable.

The restaurant was busy, but we never felt rushed for even a second. Everyone was so warm and genuinely engaged with our table, and they even surprised us with champagne to celebrate our friend, which meant so much to all of us.

Randy was our server and he was absolutely exceptional. He was fun, attentive, so personable, and somehow made the whole night feel really personal and special. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure we had an amazing experience.

It’s a small footprint so having a few groups of people in there made the atmosphere pretty loud. Not a bad thing, just a notable observation. Overall the Franklin Cafe fit our need with good late night food and drinks.“

“I came here last night for a drink and it was delicious - the flower power sour. And the service was outstanding. I wanted to sit outside and it was empty and a bit scary and the server kinda kept an eye out for me and came out often to check on me.
I ended up coming back tonight because I lost my card and this was the last place I’d used it and it was here! So I got the flower power sour and oysters again and then celebrated some more with the ‘cosmic kiwi milk punch’ and everything was amazing and I’m grateful and happy for great places and good people. Excited to go back home and come back here if I ever come backs to Boston!“
