“Valentine's Day surprise made my week!! I love sweets, especially cannolis, so when my boyfriend gave me this (with a beautiful bouquet of lilies) I almost screamed with joy! I have been on a mission to try all the bakeries in the vicinity of Boston, so you could call me a bakery expert. Gaetano's blew my socks off! Not only was the shell of the cannoli nice and crisp, but the cream was delicious. I really loved the cookies as well, which surprised me! When I am back in Holliston, you will for sure see me at Gaetano's Bakery with a crumb trail following me wherever I go.“

Plus they have all different types of flavors like Nautelle and Birthday cake and my favorite; caramel fleur de sel. Sometimes they give free samples so help yourself. “Hidden gem in Milford, MA. Located a liquor store; never would have guessed.If you like carbs you will enjoy this spot. The quiche is a decadent custard that’s light and fluffy and wholesome with a pastry shell that has the perfect crisp. The croissants are the best in the region really nailing the light, flaky puff of a croissant whether chocolate or ham and cheese. The cannelé are a new favorite of never experienced before; with a crispy burnt sugar outside and a fluffy, spongy inside that has a slight sweetness. Everything is fresh and keeps well for a couple days.Thank you bringing amazing pastries and breads to the area!“

“Home for the holidays and was eager to try this place (I always liked the former tenants in this spot, Cake Bar and Cafe Dolce). This is a rather Euro-style cafe, with sandwiches prepared and displayed to be heated or taken home.I loved the Mediterranean chicken sandwich and dirty chai! I sat right at the bar. The barista and cashier were very friendly. Cocktails are also available and I'm eager to try them another time.It was a pleasant experience and welcome addition to downtown Franklin. “Had Easter dinner there today. Food was wonderful. Service was excellent. Our server Stephen (or is it Steven) was very attentive. As busy as he was, he made us feel like we were the only ones he was taking care of. Thank you for having lamb on the Easter menu. My 95 year old Dad had the lamb and loved it.“

The sad part is that the filling was mostly in the center and it created a big mush there,the slices could not be separated without leaving a big hole in the middle!More even spreading and it would be a perfect 5 stars.“

“We ordered a custom coconut butter cream cake with cranberry jam, frosted cranberries and shaved coconut on top. Cake was absolutely AMAZING! Not one crumb leftover. Not your run of the mill grocery store cake, it was soo much better! Worth every penny!Communication with owner was also excellent! Very quick to respond to questions and happy to make a last minute addition of sugared cranberries on top.We will be back for our next special order cake and would highly recommend them to anyone! A hidden gem in Ashland for sure!“

“A friend brought over a pint each of walnut and chocolate chip gelato for dessert the other night, and I was blown away. Both were so creamy and flavorful, without tasting too sweet.I then found out all their gelatos are lactose free, so no upset stomach after eating a bunch. Looking forward to trying some of their other flavors.“

“I heard about this place from The Phantom Gourmet and heard a lot of good things. Normally based on my experience I take the Phantom's reviews of a pinch of salt because I've been disappointed the last couple times with other places, but this place definitely lives up to its reputation. The bacon egg and cheese wrap and blueberry muffin I just got are some of the best I've ever had! Will definitely be going back possibly even today to try them for lunch.Edit: went back for lunch and got the Thanksgiving Day wrap and Oh My God is it Amazing! Definitely have a new favorite place to go to and will be back as often as possible“

“The selection looks vast.I came in for a cup of tea. I am not able to walk at present, not without the help of a rolling walker and a lot of sitting down.There is no tea menu. I had to roll over to the tea and then back to the counter to say and pay for what I wanted.Then, the tea was completely “do it yourself.”It was hard to stand and find all the pieces for the cup, which burned my hand when it was handed to me, and I thus spilled some.I didn’t see the mug protector, nor was one put on for me, and I struggled to find the lids (a dispenser far to the end of the counter).It isn’t a bad idea, but the layout spanned the whole table and the cup pieces were not all in one spot.I was clearly struggling and wished one of the six or seven employees standing around talking had offered to open a door even (they were a bit of a hassle to get in and out of, and there are two coming in).If I had been ambulatory, the tea making process would have been mildly annoying. Given the pain and dysfunction I’m currently in, and the lack of help, though I kept asking for this or that, was frustrating.In my picture I show about a quarter of the tea bar. The cup hand protectors and lids should be RIGHT HERE (the carrier cases are) but the covers are halfway down the table, and the lids are on the opposite side of the long counter. The layout makes no sense, it’s cumbersome, and I can only imagine how frustrating that is when any amount of a crowd is afoot.“

“The sheer undertaking of a full-scale bakery and cafe with all traditional offerings but fully gluten-free is impressive.The sandwich bread was quite dense, and the tacos were obviously gluten free (not the exact taste or texture of traditional flour tortillas) but eveyrthing was delicious, and the lovely green and vibrant decor was beautiful.I also tried a chocolate chip cookie.You couldn’t tell that was gluten free.Highly recommend!“

“The best breakfast sandwiches in the area. They have a wide variety of coffee as well but I personally stick with the iced mocha & it never disappoints. It's usually best to order ahead online and give plenty of time as it can take a bit for your order to be ready. If you do decide to eat in the cafe has plenty of seating & it is comfortable!“

“Muffin House has a great selection of muffins. They will grill them for you. A grilled crispy blueberry muffin is heaven, especially there's. They have great build your own breakfast sandwiches. If you can't decide between bacon and sausage you can get both. They have all different kinds of coffies and cakes and sandwiches too. Some of their hidden gems are in the first case when you walk in. Someone should probably be arrested for not labeling the brownies as fudge. They are absolutely delicious with a fudge like texture. My favorite hidden gem is their eclairs. These are huge! Like the size of a small sub if squished out.. The chocolate on top has a nice rich flavor. It doesn't taste full of sugar. The pudding on the inside could feed a preschool. Thier eclair is a meal in itself. Highly recommend!“

“It's true that these are the best donuts I've had in Massachusetts because they are so light and fresh and simple . I always get the honey dip and I think if you would try any donut you need to try honey dip . This business has been around for a long time but they're not open many hours and I showed up at 6:00 a.m. Sharp on Thursday 9/14 and thrbusiness isn't open“

“Alev baked us a delicious 3-tier red velvet wedding cake. We got 6 different cake variations to try of our choosing. They were all really tasty! My wife and I do not normally like red velvet cakes and were reluctant at first to include this but we tried it nonetheless. We are so happy we did because the red velvet was out of this world. It was so good we ended up choosing that as our wedding cake flavor. Everyone who ate the cake told us how amazing it was! Alev also decorated the cake beautifully. She worked well with our florist to make it look exactly like how we wanted. Furthermore, Alev baked us a bunch of good food for our after-party like baklava, cake pops, and babkas. These were all a huge hit as well. We really appreciate all the hard work she put into making our day so special and everything came out so delicious!“

“Accidental find but so so glad that we stumbled on this gem. Bagels are light without the density found in other bagel places. We had a Seaport on an everything, Turkey Cuban and an uncle Jerry with sausage. Amazing bagel sandwiches . Extra surprise…..the coffee was also quite good.“
