“Anthony's on the Green is a true town gem. My family have enjoyed dining there for years. Nice to sit on the outdoor porch. We have been to several events there, but most recently a ran a fundraiser. Mike and his team are amazing to work with. So accommodating, quick response, and the kindest people. “They don't skimp on servings. I got the bangers and mash and it fed me for three days. The potatoes were a li'l dry, but nothing the gravy couldn't fix. There are burgers a'plenty. They've got a maple bourbon chicken sandwich that absolutely rocked. The filet was a delightfully intimidating slab of deliciously battered and fried goodness. Woe betide the indecisive person, as they have such an array of sauces for wings and sandwiches to tempt you that you might have to make a point of coming back, just to explore the possibilities.“

The employees are all kind and personable and make the experience great time and time , again. The food is always hot & delicious. Food portions are generous , I almost always have leftovers. I can't say enough good things about their drinks , they are so well made. I suggest the Grand Margarita or the Pína Colata (so good ! ). The atmosphere is always inviting, full of laughter and people socializing. “Was here on a Thursday night with one other person and had such a great experience. I ordered the beet salad and the sourdough bread to start and the spring ravioli for the main. The sourdough was great and the olive spread had great flavor with it. I also asked for some olive oil to go with the bread and I really enjoyed that with it. The beet salad was also well done - the beets were nicely seasoned and was a good size for a starter. The ravioli main had great strong cheese flavor and was extremely buttery on the outside. For dessert I tried the valrhona chocolate brownie and my friend tried the strawberry shortcake. I thought the valrhona chocolate brownie had a really strong chocolate flavor and was quite large for how dense it was - definitely would be best shared. I think the strawberry shortcake had a great strawberry compote and cream, however, the shortcake part was a bit more bread-like than I expected. Overall, I really enjoyed the meal and service and I look forward to returning!“

“Well, it was 3:30 PM on a Monday and the wife and I ravenous, having had no lunch. We were traveling back from a doctor’s appointment and at this hour all restaurants with seating seem to be closed. Google said this establishment OPEN and I must say we went out of our way a bit but it was ever so worth it. Beforehand Bonnie served a nice garden salad also fresh crisp and cold, and this all served with a big basket of toasted Parmesan bread…And the real upshot ….all this for a mere $13.95 each!….this hidden gem is highly recommended.
