“My favorite spot in Boston! The staff is incredibly friendly, particularly Daniel who works in the front. The vibe is great! If there is one thing I would change, it would be the music. For a Mexican restaurant there is little to no Latin music played on the weekends. That is a vibe/feeling that is missing from Seaport and Borrachito has it all to become that spot! Lastly, Brek’s sets on the weekends are the best“
“As a West Coast transplant, it’s hard to find good Mexican street food. There are many great Mexican restaurants in Boston, but Mexican street food? Harder to find.That’s why Taqueria Don Roge is a treat. It’s genuine street food cooked and tastes the way you want street food to taste. They have more vegetarian options than I was expecting, which is a nice touch too.What makes this place stand out beyond taste is price. Food is expensive in Boston, we know this. This place has some of the best prices in the state.“
“It was very busy at 5pm on a Friday. We were able to get a table quickly. Small clean space. Limited menu but everything was delicious. We had a good waitress. Drinks we tasty. I would go again. Nachos were the favorite. We had leftovers of everything. Good the next day. You should sell your homemade salsa/hot sauces.“

“this was my first time trying la mesa, all my friends swearrrr up and down that this is chelsea’s finesttt and some even say mass’s finest for birria tacos. I will say they was veryyyy good but they did lack some seasoning/ flavor tasted pretty bland but i still ate them tf up left no crumbs, besides that it was very good the way they are presented is def a 10/10 and texture is perfect id def recommend trying?“
“It’s very comfortable in there. It’s fairly quiet. The food isn’t bad and it’s very tasty. The drinks are good and they do have some interesting drinks there. It’s right across from the beach and right beside the laundromat. They don’t have any hot drinks there but the Dunkin’ is across the street. If you are new to tacos there is an option to remove and or add items from or to the tacos, burritos, salad, etc. Most of the food is not very spicy but you can add Cheyenne, jalapeños or habaneros. So you can make it spicy by asking for that option.Vegetarian options: Tofu, black bean, meatless.Dietary restrictions: They have options for gluten-free. They have good tofu here and the black beans are nice.Parking: The parking is in front across the street and also behind the building in the spots that say the corner cafe.Kid-friendliness: Yes. There is a kids menu and it is kid friendly. I recommend the cheese quesadilla.Wheelchair accessibility: I don’t see that it would be difficult to go in and out of there. It’s on the ground level and it’s all one floor. The bathroom is a decent size.“
