“A cozy, small restaurant tucked away within downtown Cohasset. I especially wanted to give an enormous shoutout to the extremely generous jumbo lobster sandwich that they sold during this time. It was expensive, as expected, but it did not disappoint in terms of its mass. It was huge, delicious and presentable.

The atmosphere is, as I stated before, cozy, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. It was definitely more on the quieter side--which I preferred that day--though that may depend on the time and season when you visit.

If you're walking or driving around town, I strongly recommend stopping by here, as it is an easy 5-stars for me.”

I scored some fantastic, designer-label dresses in the thrift store and can’t wait to shop again to see what ‘new’ items come in! “Clean, comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff, a variety of food options, appropriately portioned servings, on-site owner who greets guests, clean-tasting, good food – the basics of a solid breakfast meal and a fantastic way to start your day. The Benedict’s English muffins were thin, making them a perfect base for the main stars of the dish - eggs, hollandaise sauce, and protein. The home fries were perfectly cut, small wedges of potato seasoned just right and not greasy. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the service was spot on (a nice balance of attention while not ignoring you or rushing your meal). The service was a team effort; one individual took the order, another checked on beverages, while the owner brought the meals to the table. That supports the respect they have for each other, which is then passed on to the guests to ensure a positive experience. Definitely plan to visit again, again, and again in the future! “I found this lovely lady at the Hanover Farmers Market. Let me tell you…Holy moly!! I consider myself a chocolate chip cookie connoisseur and these were the best #1 cookie in my book ever!!! My 14yo also agreed and wanted to go back for more!! So soft and a perfect amount of chocolate chips in the middle but the outside wasn’t crispy but had a perfect bite to it. I will never make or buy a cookie anywhere else. They just won’t compare!”

“I usually go and eat the pizza or have an Italian grinder but I wanted something different. I ended up getting the Ham and cheese calzone. It was delish. And the day after I reheated it in the air fryer and it was as good as when I got it.”

Overall . The view and atmosphere were phenomenal, the beers were good, and the food was respectable but it didn't blow us away. Definitely a fun place to bring family and friends in the warmer months.

“The Square Cafe is now my go-to spot. Their bread pudding is the star - I'm still dreaming about it. The holiday cocktail menu is fun creative and festive. The Sesame Salmon is a masterpiece - perfectly seared with a crispy crust while staying tender inside. The spicy soy beurre blanc sauce and wakame seaweed salad create an amazing blend of flavors and textures. What makes this place truly special is the exceptional service. Sean, Amanda, and Jimmy created such a welcoming atmosphere for our party of 9. Jimmy didn't miss a beat and was very attentive. Sean & Amanda's friendly personalities made the experience even better. Thank you! Whether you're coming for the amazing bread pudding (which you absolutely should) or the delicious food and cocktails, their warm hospitality made our visit extra special. Five stars, easily one of the best dining experiences on the South Shore.”

“We ordered takeout and it was great! Burgers & Fries and a Chicken Ceaser Wrap. Burgers were delicious, especially the Chipotle Burger with jalapeños and spicy sauce. The Ceaser Wrap was fresh and had the right amount of chicken to lettuce, with a nice creamy dressing. Got a side of extra crispy fries and they were just right. Would definitely recommend this place and would order again when in the area. The lady who took the order was so nice and the food came fast, the price/food was right in my mind and we grabbed some iced teas. Thank you!”
