“We thought this place was absolutely awesome. Very clean, private. Very well run and everyone Very friendly. Very modern rooms but still has the historical charm throughout. Breakfast just a few steps down the hall. Very close to all historical places we enjoyed visiting. We will definitely return and highly recommend.“

“It was very cold inside but where we sat was not crowded. Would have liked to have a Malbec available for my father. The bartender Corey was a rock star, but I do think on game days there should be a server to help him. He was running bar, bar tables, floor and outside. He was amazing but still a lot to be responsible for. We will definitely return, we enjoyed watching the game.“

“We just had our wedding at The Grove, and the experience was top notch. Staff, food, and atmosphere were spot on every step of the way. We need to give a special shout out to Julia, who coordinated every little detail while making everyone feel at ease and welcome. Her efforts leading up to the wedding and through the whole event were very impressive, down to the smallest details of our requests that she knew by heart, as well as her experience and input on the other small details we wouldn’t have even thought of. The organization is very lucky to have her. Thank you to all of the incredible staff for such a wonderful day. Down to the extra gift the morning after!“

“I hosted our office event at Double Bull last night, with Musical Bingo in the Avalon room. It was absolutely fantastic! From the service to the food to the drinks! Our server, Jackie, is the sweetest and so accommodating! Rebecca the House/Event manager was a doll! She was so considerate, helpful and detailed oriented in planning the event. She even had our company logo on the menu! The office will be talking about this one for a long time. Thanks ladies from all of us!“

“OMG Best breakfast ever. Got a western omelet and I must say was the best one one I've had in years. My daughter got the veggie omlet and is the first time I've ever seen her clean her plate! Will definitely go here from now on. No other restaraunt can will ever top this place. Good coffee, friendly people, great service, and great prices. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting the best! I'm not the only one that likes it there. There was only one empty table left. Wheelchair access, handicap parking nesr the front door that makes it an easy access for those needing it. Will definitely go back there. Hard to find anywhere with a breakfast this good.“

“The Grog is such a historic establishment. I remember going there when I was young and going back every time I am in Newburyport Wonderful chowder and food. Reasonable pricing and friendly servers.“

“Food was outstanding. Wonderful place lots of TVs . Was there on a Saturday night World Series playing and many college football games going on. Bartender didn't know how to work the TVs. Every TV was on the same channel. Disappointed on his inability or desire to change one TV. Oh well great place. Martinis are unbelievable WOW“

“My wife and I have not had much luck with dining out lately so when it came to picking a restaurant for our anniversary dinner I was nervous that I would find the right place. I came across Nine Elm and read the reviews. They were amazing. So we made a reservation but I was still cautiously optimistic. Things could not have gone better! We arrived and where we were seated was noising, not what we wanted for an anniversary dinner. When I asked the waitress if there was a quieter spot she went to speak to the manager in we were moved immediately. The general atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and the staff is very friendly but professional. The wine was lovely and the food delicious. We ordered the duck and the swordfish special and they were both cooked to perfection. For dessert we split a Creme Brule. The custard was light and creamy a pleasant surprise. We had an amazing time. We will be back!“

Golden nachos COVERED in tender pulled pork and fresh cheese, chicken tenders are hand battered and well seasoned, hand cut french fries cooked to perfection. Food and service have been superb, consistent, and dependable. Definitely a regular spot for us.“

“I haven't been there for years and have been thinking about it so I finally ordered a Yankee Pot Roast. It was superb and I will definitely be back but I was disappointed they didn't include gravy for my double order of mashed. I will be specific next time. I gotta try the prime rib too, I never had a bad steak there.“

“We had lunch there on 06/28/21. We had an appointment at Anna Jacques and let the waitress know that we were in a hurry. She put a rush on our meals. The food was great, especially the fries! The waitress gave excellent, friendly service. We will be back!“

“We've always had a good experience with 15 Walnut. It is popular, so be sure to get reservations, especially on Friday nights. The three of us had 3 different meals, and all were good. The waitress, Rebecca, was friendly and helpful. My pulled pork sandwich was excellent - warm, with an excellent BBQ sauce, and very tasty. The bill was moderate - less than what we've seen at similar restaurants. We'll return.“
