“Finding Half Rats was the happiest accident of my wedding-planning process! We stumbled upon them after our original welcome party venue canceled on us with less than a month to go, but BOY are we happy they did! My only regret is that I didn't find Half Rats sooner.
Abby was a joy to work with—highly communicative, flexible, and just so lovely. Her team (big shout-out to Troy and Sarah!) was incredibly helpful on the day of and instrumental in making our evening a stunning success.
The space itself is gorgeous, and the wine selection was killer. We're so excited to return as regular (albeit sentimental) patrons to fully kick back and enjoy. I cannot recommend Half Rats enough to anyone living in or passing through Great Barrington!“

“My wife and I stopped in for Valentine’s Day last night and were reminded why Brava is the best restaurant in the Berkshires. We have been three times and every time we go we are impressed. Initially we were hesitant, thinking it would be over priced but it is always less expensive than we expected. Pizzas, wings, and the bread pudding were the favorites this time. 10/10.“

“On our way home from drone daughter off at camp we stopped in. I got the brisket and rib combo. My wife got the burger. We got a pretzel and Mediterranean snack. It was all delicious. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I will go again.“

“So fun! It was an old speakeasy and it has a comfortable old timey vibe as soon as you walk in. The food was good and the service was fast and informative. We left before the live music at 7pm but I could see how that would be a fun experience and this atmosphere. The cocktails and mocktails were delicious! Worth the visit!!“

“It's a nice place, but just be warned that it's a Beer & Whiskey bar. They have very limited mixers, so very limited cocktail options. If you're a Beer and/or Whiskey fan, you'll enjoy it. They had one option each for Red & White wine in case there's a wine drinker in your group.“
