“This is a small "hole in the wall" restaurant. Parking is behind the building. We almost didn't go because the last review was in Feb. 2021. Restaurant seems to do mostly take out business while we were there. It only seats about 10 or 12 people. My husband and I both enjoyed the sandwiches we ordered. They are prepared while you are there, so its no fast in and out. I ordered the chicken salad and it was good, but not superb. My husband had the pastrami and rye and he enjoyed his sandwich.“
“I just had a wonderful feast of sticky bourbon ribs and an order of Cajun jumbo shrimp with a side of Mac and cheese. The only thing missing was some delicious corn bread.I'm definitely going back in order to try some other items. So delicious ?.“
“Nice spot to go out for some food with friends or on a date. We had a table of 5 and got right in. I was super impressed that when I ordered the tomato soup cup as an appetizer it was already at the table before the table finished ordering! My ahi tuna Thai salad was really good. Appreciated the great service that we got while we were there. Definitely consider Johnny's if you are in the area.“
“Been coming here for about 10 years and it's the only spot I go to for Spanish food. In my opinion they give so much for a very reasonable price. The owner is very kind and friendly. I believe his family works the place with him. I usually get the same thing every time, but everything I've tried is delicious!“
“We had a reservation for Friday night for my girlfriend’s birthday. All of the food was delicious and mouth watering!! Drinks were very yummy. The crème brûlée cheesecake was out of this world!! Loved those sticky ribs!! One of the chefs Josh came out and talked us. We had a few questions about the entrées, and he answered them. The owner Drew was very kind as well!! Our server was on point. “First time for us. Forgot to take pics of food but it was good. Hamburgers were good. Was a little undercooked for one person (asked for med. and got rare). Caesar salad was great..unfortunately out of anchovies so got chicken instead. It was very good. Takes some time for the sandwiches to be made but that's the nature of the beast for preparing fresh food.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly, but it's a deli line so not much for a kid to do.Wheelchair accessibility: I do not feel that they had an accessible entrance.“
“We had my son’s 1st birthday party at The Boathouse today. As usual the staff was absolutely amazing and above and beyond accommodating. Erica was an extraordinary server. We had absolutely everything we needed at all times. Drinks at all times, tables constantly cleared and clean and more. Kerri was wonderful to book and coordinate with and helpful every step of the way. The food was so delicious as always. We’re so grateful for the beautiful party we had today! We can’t wait to have future functions at The Boathouse again.“
“We were greeted warmly by Sherry and shown there were 2 seats at the Bar reserved! Next Marco the Bartender/Server asked us what drinks we would like and proceeded to make and served them! Marco is always welcoming and the Martini he made was Chilled and Delicious!! The Prime Rib Dinner was Awesome done just the way we like !! The Quartet that played was easy listening! “Went in for lunch. Service was fine for a weekday lunch. Chowder was good and I got a butternut and Brussels pizza that was delicious and a generous serving. Our lunch mate got a massive serving of mussels Diablo. The check was very modest at the end too for 3 people. But nothing super note worthy.“

“My lady and I thoroughly enjoyed the drinks, service and music at this fine establishment! We popped in unexpectedly after work to find a wonderful bartender named Laura serving super sized Martinis and delicious pints of Beer. Earlier in the evening they also offer a few $3 small plate apps, which is nice to match with the killer beverages. I can't say enough about the hospitality we encountered at Shakago, simply outstanding! So warm on a cold night, best drinks ever and the lit candles also warmed our hearts. Karaoke started shortly after arriving, and the two guys running the gig were also very pleasant, not to mention that they both had such soulful sounds they could make grown men weep. I fealt bold enough to sing a song...or three while there, and the sound system and ambience even turned me into a solid performer, lol. We were lucky to encounter a birthday party being set up by one of their regulars, so my lady inquired, ended up chatting with the guy named Donny. He was bringing his girlfriend back in an hour or so, with the intent to surprise her on her birthday, and he sure did! We stayed for awhile dancing and laughing the start of the night, and seriously had a blast. You won't find better drinks, warmer people and smoother moods that here. “I've gone about five times and all five times the food has been pretty good, the one thing that stands out is that their consistent. Got the house steak, it was pretty good , not outstanding but for the price you can't touch it. All 5 time the girls working were very polite and outgoing. Also noticed a lot of the fellow customers knew each other. Nice Portuguese feel to the place“
