“Tried Tony & Penny's yesterday for the first time for lunch. Dined with my fiance & Father, who had been here before & had positive things to say. We were told that we could seat ourselves & enjoyed a very nice meal. The atmosphere was comfortable, clean & cozy. Specials were listed upon entering. Our waitress was friendly & pleasant. Service was great. My Dad ordered the Cajun swordfish, which he liked & had the kale soup with that, he also said was good, my fiance got the Roast Sirloin & mashed potatoes/veggies & a salad, he was happy with his choice, and I ordered the Chicken Francaise over linguine, and the chicken soup, which I enjoyed. Everything was delicious & freshly made, you could tell. Overall, I think Tony & Penny's is a nice restaurant that I would definitely recommend. They also have a private banquet room, for special functions/occasions. I don't venture out to Ludlow often, but I would stop in again, if in the area! Photo is of me & my Father.Parking: Plenty of parking available.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly establishment.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance.“
“As much as I wanted to love this local veggie friendly little spot,.. I can't give 5 stars for the food. It's cute&clearly very popular during weekday lunch, on a pedestrian only street with potential but... of the 5 sandwiches 2 were very bland, the tuna wasn't warm or cheese melted, but one was good my son said, & one was the smallest pb&j my 6y had ever seen! My mom got the sweet potato bowl & it was small& disappointing in flavor. Slow for lunch due to the order ahead option we didn't know about...Parking: Google sent us to wrong front entrance, have to use entrance on pedestrian street“
“We went to Dewey’s Lounge to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Our experience could not have been better. What an absolutely amazing staff. They personalized service and made all their guests feel welcome. We weren’t rushed and were allowed to really enjoy our night with friends. The food was next level. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, they outdid themselves. It was an overall excellent experience and we can’t wait to go back!“
“We've been to Memo's several times and they never disappoint! I had the tuna club (they use solid white). It was really good! Nice fresh lettuce and tomato, bacon, nice and crispy. Plenty of delicious tuna! I got a side order of fries, which were good too. Hubby got the lunch special, spaghetti and meatballs that came with a salad. He said it was very good. Passed on dessert as I was only able to eat half my sandwich. Their limoncello cake is to die for!!It can be noisy when they are busy but we got there about 11:15 so it pretty quiet. Will go back again!Parking: Parking can be an issue when you go in at peak times. There is on street parking but not sure if there's meters or not.“
“"I recently visited Tables at the farm and had a wonderful experience. The portions of food were generous and delicious, especially the omelet with peppers, cheese, and ham. The crispy and tasty fries for only $3.00 as a side were a delightful addition to the meal. Though the food took a little while to arrive, the good customer service and pleasant atmosphere made up for it. The clean and inviting environment made me want to come back and try more dishes. I'm looking forward to visiting again in the summer for the patio experience. Overall, a great place to enjoy a satisfying meal!"“
“The food was absolutely on point and felt so fresh. The portions were just the right size to leave you completely satisfied without taking home a doggie bag. The cheeseburger chowder was divine! This is a new favorite spot for my wife and I!“
“Ok, we eat out quite a bit. A huge favorite of ours is Ebenezer's! The food is excellent, quick, and hot. The service is tremendous, courteous, and always asking if everything is good. We always meet someone who we make friends with. It's just a great place to meet and chill out with an adult beverage and a great meal. Thank you Ebenezer's! Can't wait to go to the Whiskey Barrel!“
“Never been before to Johnny's bar and grill went for the first time for my brother's birthday, great place to spend an evening dinner with family or friends. They have a really good menu for everyone. Great atmosphere and wonderful staff.“
“We tried another brunch place and it was crowded and didn't want to wait so drove to Chicopee and through Yelp found this gem! It was busy but got a booth and quick service of hot coffee first! Then our delicious meal came and we had to take some home with us there was ao much of it! Definitely recommend for service, atmosphere and variety of great meal choices!“
“McCarthys Pub is an amazing place! Excellent and reasonably priced food, nice cold beer and a friendly and pleasant staff. It is by far my favorite place to go! Give them a try, l guarantee you will not be disappointed! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“This is a small "hole in the wall" restaurant. Parking is behind the building. We almost didn't go because the last review was in Feb. 2021. Restaurant seems to do mostly take out business while we were there. It only seats about 10 or 12 people. My husband and I both enjoyed the sandwiches we ordered. They are prepared while you are there, so its no fast in and out. I ordered the chicken salad and it was good, but not superb. My husband had the pastrami and rye and he enjoyed his sandwich.“
“If you love a good hearty meal that is consistently excellent every-time, then you’ll be at home here. Main St. Grille has a laid back atmosphere and the staff is the best around. Coffee is always fresh and hot with refills for days. Small diner Feel with Big appetite appeal. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!“
“It doesn't look like much from the outside but we were pleasantly surprised how great the did and service was. The Shepards pie was outstanding. Others got the Reuben and a chicken sandwich and said they were great. The waitress was prompt and efficient. General atmosphere is a sports bar.“
“My 1st actual visit they get busy quicker than you can blink. The atmosphere is a real chill vibe, family-friendly environment. The food is served in huge portions. I had a long hair in my slaw. She took the food and didn't charge me. But gave me 2 drinks for the next visit. Honestly, the food was so good and service that I would've been fine with a remade order. I'm definitely coming back.“
“Showed up for a late breakfast after church. First time patronizing this place.Had the special, Irish Eggs Benedict. Also at my table folks ordered pancakes, scrambled eggs, regularEggs Benedict and an everthing omelette.Everything was excellent. Coffeehot and tasty. Plenty of wait staff and I will add that they shared responsibility on the coffee refills. All the staff were very attentive.“
“todo el mundo puede hacer , papas , tacos , pero la calidad de las carnes , es otra cosa en el sabor ! como ellos ninguno , ! y que me dicen de los famosos y ricos flanes , eso son delicioso y compré uno de piña colada , que al principio lo encontré extraño pero son los que mas me encanta,I'm HAPPY to be there for all of us!“
“We visited Wahlburgers after a day out at the museums in Sprinfield. We went around 5 pm on a Wednesday and we were seated right away. We ordered the tots trio from the recommendation of the waiter and were very happy with it. We split it between 3 adults and one child and it felt like way more than enough. The tots themselves were well made and all 3 in the trio had great flavor from the toppings. We ordered the Mac and cheese with fries for the kids. My 5 and 7 year old who don't eat much were able to split it happily. I personally ordered the Fiesta burger and thoroughly enjoyed it, although it did not come out medium. The pickles and jalapeños complimented each other nicely. My other half ordered the "our burger" medium (a true medium) and added carmelized onions instead of regular onions. It was also good, however I would recommend ordering thr tomato on the side so your bottom slice of bread doesn't come out soggy like hers did. In addition, we ordered the birthday cake adult shake which was wonderfully thick. Overall, it was good food, quick and friendly service, and reasonably priced. Definitely would go back if we lived in the area.Parking: There was paid parking in the front on the street, but I am pretty sure there was also a free parking lot in the back.“
“So I went back and forth between 3 star and 4 stars. Small business have it tough already competing with larger business' so I gave 4 stars. Service was great waitress was attentive and nice. I was not happy with my food I got the eggs benedict. Sauce was light almost non existent and if it was not for the salt and hot sauce I would not have ate it. Only thing they did well is poaching egg so that it was runny but they need some more seasoning and better hollandaise sauce. Also, the potatoes were wet not sure if it was water or oil but a little weird and also tasteless.“
“The BEST BLT I've had in YEARS! Perfectly cooked bacon, portions of each ingredient just right, and the grinder roll was perfectly toasted for a nice crunch yet soft and easy to take a bite. DELICIOUS! All for a fair price at that. 5 ? for sure :)“
“**A Winning Review for Max's Tavern**Max's Tavern holds a special place in my heart, and with every visit, it never fails to impress. Let me start by raving about their Baseball Filet ala Oscar – it's a culinary masterpiece that hits it out of the park every time. The combination of tender filet mignon, rich crab meat, and savory béarnaise sauce is simply divine. It's a dish I find myself craving regularly and one that keeps me coming back for more. Now, let's talk about the martinis. Oh, they are spot on delicious! Whether you prefer a classic martini or something with a twist, the mixologists at Max's Tavern know how to craft the perfect cocktail. Sipping on one of their expertly crafted martinis while enjoying the ambiance is an experience in itself.Speaking of ambiance, Max's Tavern nails it. The vibe is a perfect blend of swanky sophistication meets Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack meets The Sopranos. It's classy yet comfortable, with just the right amount of old-school charm. And let's not forget about the attentive wait staff who always go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. And finally, let's talk about the staff. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm smile and friendly demeanor. The entire team at Max's is genuinely welcoming, and it's clear that they take pride in providing top-notch service. As a former student at Smith College, Max's Tavern holds a special place in my heart. Every time I'm back in the area, I make it a point to eat at Max's – it's become somewhat of a tradition for me. And with each visit, I'm reminded of why I keep coming back. Max's Tavern is more than just a restaurant – it's an experience, and one that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable dining experience.“
“I ordered the Two Eggs, Bacon, and Toast for ~ $11 and would definitely recommend! I organized the food into two breakfast sandwiches and it was delicious. The perfect serving size for me, left only crumbs on the plate.Everyone in my party also enjoyed their meals. We don’t suggest the burgers or cranberry juice, but the fries, ham, and everything else was very good.I wish there was beautiful art on the walls and the channel the tv was on wasn’t my taste. But the service was fast and the person who served us was lovely. :)“
“I have a lot of good things to say, and then just minor critiques that don't necessarily hurt my experience.Mateo is a very very lovely server. He definitely reinforces the "intimacy" of this restaurant's vibe. If the owner reads this, tell Mateo we really enjoyed our night with him waiting on us! He was polite, caring, gentle and soft-spoken. A beautiful personality to run front of house! HOWEVER it took him a very very long time to check in on how we liked our food, and I was nearly done with my entire course before I got to tell him that my second side never came out of the kitchen. The food was great! The Mac N Cheese was for sure the star of the show. The portion sizes are WELL worth the cost!! And while I did enjoy the Ribeye - I would have to say it was definitely a little over seasoned. Not unbearable (the flavor was great, I still ate the steak) but it can definitely be toned down just a little bit, because that first bite was definitely a kick to my mouth and then once I had that expectation for thr next bite it was a little easier. For dessert, the cheesecake was unavailable. But that's because the kitchen was working on adding new desserts, my table had the Strawberry Cornbreads, a Mange & Hazelnut Gelato. I was eating the Hazelnut Gelato and oh...my...god. PUT IT ON THE MENU !!! It was SOOOOO good! If I ever go again I think I would always go back to the Gelato over a cheesecake. Seriously. It was phenomenal and I want the kitchen to know they did a fantastic job on the flavor! If it wasn't for my second side coming late, and the over abundant seasoning on the ribeye, 5 Stars.I would still high-key recommend this place to anyone. And to TRY THE HAZELNUT GELATO !!! ?“
“We had drinks in the Mick before dinner . Great bar lots of friendly staff. Asia greeted us as we entered and what a upbeat positive person! She checked on us a few times during the night we felt special. She is definitely the first person you want to meet. Bartender was awesome, I don't remember her name, and even though busy chatted up all the patrons w her favorites on appetizers and drinks. Raliegh was our waiter and he was knowledgeable in the menu answering all our questions. He always showed up just when we needed him a sign of a seasoned waiter. I had Chicken Pot Pie and it was beyond delicious. It's served in a cast iron pan with a flaky crust and mashed potatoes incorporated in the filling . A slice of heaven... a large portion so go hungry! My husband had filet mignon au poivre cooked medium rare to perfection. It was delicious definitely need to be a pepper lover. He had a smoked bourbon after dinner drink which Raliegh explained all that went into it. If you order this drink let it sit a bit before you drink it. We passed I. Desert as we were so full . It's a great restaurant the staff work well together helping each other out . We loved it!“
“The wine pairing dinner was great. The food and wine was just what we were looking for. The seating arrangement was no good. I went with a party of 4, and our purpose was to catch up with each other. We were unaware and did not like the one large table with all parties sitting next to each other. We are unable to have conversations with each other.“
“Been coming here for about 10 years and it's the only spot I go to for Spanish food. In my opinion they give so much for a very reasonable price. The owner is very kind and friendly. I believe his family works the place with him. I usually get the same thing every time, but everything I've tried is delicious!“
“Stopped by for a carry out lunch. The burgers were cooked and prepared perfectly. Not greasy at all. Very flavorful. This is easily one of the best hidden gems of Springfield. Better than any chain you’ll ever go to. Friendly staff. Watched regulars from the neighborhood come in; this is their go-to place. Will definitely visit again.“
“As for the food which was in the party I went to yesterday that happened to be where the catering was from. I must say overall for the food they provided it's pretty good but my only slight gripe might be the rolls (seemed really not baked from the oven or such) but in all what they had (pasta w/meatballs, yellow rice, chicken wings, potatoes, veggies on oil sauce) but you can rest assured that they will make sure you get leftovers so you possibly want stuff for little bit you're all set. Okay & enjoy.“
“It's a fun little establishment to hang out on the outdoor patio with friends on a Friday after work. They have live music, but left before the musicians started.Ordered a couple of apps - fried pickles and bourbon wings. Apps were served fast, fresh and hot. Robust portions are great for sharing.Bartender was the only one on site - she juggled inside and outside quite nicely. Checking in frequently on her customers.“
“Amazing to have your cravings met with fabulous options for those us whom have dietary restrictions! I adore the Pizza, the Subs, and the pasta! Imagine not having a sub for years bc no one had a Gluten Free Sub roll...until...Pizza D' Action showed up in my search for gf/df pizza etc! Thank God!!! Will be a patron for as long as I'm in the area! The new management and staff are wonderful so happy to see this place thriving! We look forward to supporting them in their new journey! ?Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free and Dairy-free available!“
“We had the BEST night out for my sisters birthday! While I have been to this fine establishment many times, most of the others in our party of 16 had not. Everything was perfection. Not a single complaint on the food, cocktails or service. Thank you Andrew and crew for accommodating my fam in such a gracious way!“
“Excellent fresh ingredients. Had pork schnitzel well balanced flavor the rib my wife had was excellent also.we had the cauliflower appetizer it was fried in fresh neutral tasting oil with a chilly dipping sauce. It was well balanced for the heat lover and spice sensitive person.“
“My husband and I visited for the first time recently. We sat at the bar, where the bartender was very friendly and efficient. My husband had the half rack of baby back ribs and I had the chicken Marsala. The meals came with fresh green salads and delicious warm rolls, accompanied by butter and olive oil/red wine vinegar/seasoning. The food was very good and the portions were extremely generous. I got two lunches out of my leftovers! The prices are very reasonable. It is a friendly, local establishment and we chatted with some nice folks at the bar. Very relaxing, home town feel with friendly staff.“
“Visiting family and wanted to go to a place to see the Liverpool match. Staff was gracious and kind. Put the match on several TVs. Food is great. They pour a great pint of Guinness. Friendly. Warm. Inviting. I felt at home. I am very grateful to the staff.“
“My first time visiting this portuguese restaurant. The food was very good, with lots of flavors. Our server was very friendly & gave us great food recommendations. I recommend visiting this true gem in Chicopee for some authentic portuguese food.“
“Arrive for a late breakfast. Service was prompt and pleasant. The atmosphere is old to the edge of quaint. My only complaint was it eggs seemed to have been fried in oil and not butter. If it was butter, it was a variety I've never experienced before.“
“The Gin Mill is exactly what you're looking for, if you want a local dive bar with some distinctly interesting and unique characteristics. Read the other reviews and you'll get the right idea. They make a pretty decent home-style fried burger for a few bucks -- exactly what I needed and vastly superior to a fast food burger. Not gourmet by any stretch but better than I expected. I'd be happy to return. (BTW, there's virtually no AT&T data connectivity in this locale, so don't go there counting on it.)“
“Everyone here was great eggcept whoever the blonde girl is. She was extremely rude when she dropped our food off and then minutes later proceeded to fill creamer on the table reaching across our eating space. As someone who waited tables for years I was absolutely appalled.“
