“I recently hosted a birthday party at Idle Hands and it was so awesome! It was super easy to schedule the rental and plan the event with Darren. The Idle Hands team was great during the event - they made everything run smoothly and made it look easy. Everyone had a wonderful time 🙂 thank you!!“
“Went to get lunch when we got to Boston. Was close by our hotel and I love craft beer so was excited to try something local. Split the burger for lunch which was excellent. Tried three different beers and enjoyed each one. They didn’t do flights but do offer small pours so it made it easy to try different brews.
Venue was nice as well and easy to get to in the Seaport area.“
“Mancini Soul Project definitely recommends night shift brewing. the best people, staff and brews!!“
“Long long long live overdue visit to the Best Brewery in Boston. All due respect to Sam Adams, Trill, and others these guys are masters of the IPA but don't go to sleep on Merry Dancer (dark lager) or the Frozie Cup Series. If you're hankering for light the Rox Pils and Kolsch are top tier! Beers to make you happy and a great space with parking. What else do you need in Boston?“
“Stopped in this past Saturday, on a trip up from Florida. Watched the dog training class for a bit and their welcome inside, and sampled a couple of the "offerings". Great brews! As a former home brewer, brought back a couple memories (Porter and IPA). And the bartender was GREAT!! 🙂“
“It’s a lovely setting right by the water, so a fantastic place to go on a sunny day.
Beer-wise I tried three. One of the pilsners was excellent, another was decent, then I tried a NEIPA which I thought was actually pretty poor. So overall a little disappointed in the beers given the reputation this place has, but maybe it was just bad luck. I’d stick to lagers on any future visit.
We also had a pretzel and cheese sauce as a snack and that was very tasty.“
“Lychee blueberry sour was DELICIOUS!!!! The bar tender Adam was really nice and gave us a lot of good recommendations in the area! Also have snuggle boards and dog merch! Daily events happening at the brewery! Fun cute vibes for our honeymoon!!!“
“Overall 4.5
Beer: 5
Ambiance 4.5
Service: 5
Dog friendly: 5
Summary: Overall, very good beer with very good service. Dog friendly (inside and out). Food options are limited.
Visited Fri, 5/15/26, late afternoon.
My wife and I each ordered a flight. No overlap. Beers skewed to the malty but covered IPA. All were good, but midnight (stout) and kolsch and amber rye were all excellent. (Honorable mention to cerveza w tanjin rim!)
Dogs are welcome inside and we felt that right away when Jeff (owner) welcomed us and asked if he could treat our pup.
Service was attentive and helpful in selecting beers, giving good insights to what we would like based on our preferences.
Food options were limited to snacks so maybe come for the beer and great vibes which were both abundant on this late Friday afternoon.
Cheers!“
“Highly recommend !!! Adams Apple - cider , Candlepin- light, and Fiver- hazy ipa, to start. Atmosphere is really open and inviting. Lots of natural light but that cozy dark vibe too. Bardo’s pizza is so good. It’s kind of giving naan with toppings in consistency and with super crusty crust like almost burnt but don’t be alarmed. Staff were overall really attentive and friendly! The outdoor space looked great but the winter weather did not cooperate. The Gen Zesty was unbelievably pickle tasting perfection but no soggy pickles! The ranch pickle dressing was so good you didn’t need the actual pickles on the pizza. Giving chicken bacon ranch but to the next level.“
“Our favorite place to chill out with friends and kids! Staff is the best, vibe is perfect, live music vary and it's always a good project and always a good new beer to try. I recommend it but don't sit on my favorite corner please ;).“
“A fantastic family friendly brewery that is truly owner operated, and always a delight. Twisted Fate has been my go-to brewery for the past two years, serving up a variety of fantastic beers.“
“Just had the most welcoming visit at Hannah’s! Kathleen at the bar took great care of us. Scott Bros BBQ was the event for the day and it smelled great! Looking forward to a return visit very soon! The beers were absolutely DEEELICIOUS!!!! If you haven’t visited Hannah’s yet, don’t wait! It’s terrific!“
“The Back Beat Brewery is the absolute best restaurant around in Beverly. They have a variety of delicious sandwiches, fresh brewed coffee, & hand crafted beers & awesome Pizza at good prices too. The have live entertainment some nights, a great friendly wait staff, and nice atmosphere with clean bathrooms. Its also spacious inside with decent tables & chairs too. Game boards at the bar. I enjoying going there a lot. Thanks !“
“Had a private event here and had an amazing experience. The owner was responsive and helped us put on an amazing family event in a really nice space. Also… the beer was outstanding. The flagship IPA was really balanced. I typically pass on IPAs because they’re overly bitter but these beers were really well crafted and flavorful.“
“We stopped in for a quick beer before dinner last week and really enjoyed it. It had a very laid-back atmosphere with friendly staff. There were lots of great beer options that made it a bit tough to choose. We both enjoyed the ones we picked and can't wait to go back and try some others.“
“Great open space with a patio area and a rooftop area. The craft brews are great and the charcuterie options were spot on.“
“Perfect cider with no carbonation or added sugar. Love it!“

“ODE TO HARPOON STOUT:
Oh Harpoon, my dear Harpoon,
Your buttery stout makes me swoon!
Why oh why can't I find it when I'm out?
There are not many truly good stouts.
Please find a way to put it in a bottle,
The tech seems to need Aristotle!
Come on, at least offer it in kegs,
Don't make us drink Guinness's dregs!
ORIGINAL:
Great tasting room! I had no idea that harpoon made such a lovely, buttery stout! I did not try all of the beers, I kept having the stout! Tasting room is $15 and bottomless 4 oz glasses!“

“Great little discovery on my recent Boston visit.
Hidden away over in Cambridge is an awesome little bar/taproom - Satellite. Which serves as a 2nd retail outlet for the nearby Remnant Brewing in Somerville.
Satellite ticks all the boxes. Intimate small bar, cozy back courtyard, tasty food, great staff, live music most nights, & lashings of craft beer & cocktails - what’s not to like?
Well worth a visit if you’re in the neighbourhood.“
