“Patty from Luna Sweets helped to make my son’s high school graduation very special. My son had a special custom made 3D guitar with Funfetti cake. It was absolutely amazing! She then made matching cupcakes with sugar guitars. They were a huge hit! The night before, Patty made a cake for my son and my nephew highlighting their High School and their future colleges of URI and IU. It was very special and again a huge hit with everyone. Patty was amazing, fun and a great pleasure!!!“

“We've passed by this bakery quite a few times and weren't disappointed when finally getting to try it out! They serve a variety of Haitian savory and sweet treats which are bound to satisfy any craving. The interior is pretty small so definitely more of a grab-and-go spot, but felt clean and homey. We got a patty and a cake to share, both of which were pretty delicious! The patty took a bit of time to heat up, but other than that, service was pretty solid. The price wasn't too bad, albeit a bit on the pricier side, and overall, I wouldn't mind coming back to some of their other selections in the future. For a local bakery, definitely worth visiting and supporting!“

The cakes are like art work and they have such creativity. You live locally to the northshore and particularly the Beverly- Salem area.. this is the place to make your desserts.“
“I 1000% recommend J Cakes!! They made my wedding cake dreams come true. I am obsessed with chocolate cake, and when we asked if they could make my now husband and I a chocolate-on-chocolate wedding cake, they were so excited. The owner was extremely helpful in designing the cake and advising us on how big it should be. Plus, they added on a vanilla sheet cake for all the non-chocolate lovers. The tasting box of cupcakes was so delicious that we couldn’t wait to taste the final product. I was elated to see the cake on our wedding day, and it was even more tasty than I had hoped! “I went to Sweet 'n Nasty for my birthday cake in 2020 and 2022, and I think I will again this year because they are just so fun and so yummy! Everyone gets a kick out of my cake every year, and with a sort of 'novelty' idea like this, you wouldn't expect the cake to actually be good, but it IS! The frosting isn't too sweet and the cake is delicious. The staff is so kind on the phone and I always leave with a great product. Thank you guys for bringing joy to my birthdays! :)“
“Continental is a great Italian bakery. Love the Italian rum birthday cake. Cannoli, lobster tails, baba rum, all delicious and reasonable prices. Crazy what people will pay just a couple miles down the road in the north end when they could come here and feed an army for what they pay at the more well known Boston bakeries. Ignore the idiot who complained about deposits on orders. He’s the type who would probably stiff them.“
“We and our kids love this place! Of all the many ice cream stores on Newbury or downtown Boston this is our favorite. They have so many delicious flavors it's wonderful to try different ones depending on our mood. The service is friendly and efficient. “Ordered a unicorn cake and smash cake for my granddaughter's 1st birthday and they were not only absolutely stunning but it was the best tasting cake I've ever had in my life. Everyone raved about it. We got tres leches with fruit cocktail and buttercream. Their buttercream is literally the most delicious buttercream I have ever tasted ever. It's not overly sweet. It's fluffy and creamy and just to die for. So good I could eat a bowl of it.“

The servers are friendly, and the ice cream is delicious. My nephew prefers Ben and Jerry's over J.P. Licks because he is not a fan of chocolate, and Ben and Jerry's has more variety without chocolate.“
