We had a group of 7, during the holidays, so we expected the restaurant to be crowded, but they accommodated us quickly and every meal turned out perfectly — including our favorite, “The Perfect Plate!” One guest ordered the Chicken Pot Pie and the Cheesecake and absolutely loved it! Thanks for making it a special experience for my family and for all the special memories in 2025! See you next year!“

“My wife and I were in Wakefield to purchase car and when we were finished we realized we had not eaten all day. We found this gem of a diner. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. I started with the beef stew. it was excellent. It was not to salty, you could tell it was homemade the flavor brought me back to childhood. My wife started with the chicken and rice soup which she said was also fantastic, once again not to salty. I had the hot turkey sandwich with gravy. The gravy was outstanding. My wife had the teriyaki chicken stir-fry which was delicious. We needed the meal by brining home 6 raisin oatmeal cookies. I would highly recommend North Ave. Diner if you are in the area.“

As a life long expert on eggplant- everything eggplant-pizza, sandwiches, full dinners, even as far as eggplant pancakes ( just kidding on this one) you folks get a ten out out 5 stars every time! When eggplant not available, cheese steak meets my tough standards“

“Old style dinner type place with tables and counter stools. Established in 1927. Photos of famouse people who have visited over the years. Waitress was managing entire front of the house and was very pleasant. Food was good
Home made corned beef hash, eggs cooked to perfection. Prices I bit high. We prefer this kind of place, with lots vintage charm, over the chains.“

“10/30/25 Thursday. Came here today for an early lunch. Haven’t been here since a decade ago it’s been remodeled it’s so bright and clean and modernized! When I came here it was dark and dime lit. The place was clean welcoming and the staff was friendly! I got an order of the fish and chips and coleslaw, instead of fries I got onion rings. The fish was cooked perfectly it wasn’t oily and the fish was not made with a heavy batter it was a balanced amount. The onion rings also cooked excellent fresh tasting and both dishes tasted like they used fresh grease not day old. My server was attentive, friendly busy, but always kept an eye out if I needed anything! Great customer service! For dessert got the key lime pie. Great tasting dessert cake was moist rich frosting but not to sweet. Very please with everything the service and the food will definitely come back to try more in the menu! Love the new look of the place very warm vibe inside.“

“Food is decently priced compared to the area. The Carne Asada plate is not their forte but they do have great burgers and omelets. No truck parking. You can park on the side of the road but it's not that convenient. They do have delivery however and they're fast and friendly. If you're delivering to the Boston Market or the New England Market then hit this place up for a nice freshly cooked meal.“

“It's a diner on the outskirts of the hood; a local hole in the wall dive that dish out great food! What ever you order will taste exactly how its supposed to!! I had the steak & cheese on a sub roll w/ steak fries 😋 Bestie had grits w/ spicy beef sausage and she loved that. The grits looked really good 👍🏾 we also had mimosas that were great!“

“If you want a hometown diner feel, this is the place to go! Went for breakfast here this morning and it was great! The service, food and staff were awesome. I just had surgery on my hand and I mentioned to my cousin how an omelette would be easier to eat then picking up a sandwich. The waitress quickly chimed in and told me the cook will cut it into fours for me! I would recommend this place to anyone! 😊“
