“A lively, huge restaurant and bar, with a wide variety of menu items to really appeal to / accommodate everyone's tastes and dietary needs.

The staff is quite friendly and professional. They have a great musical playlist with the accompanying videos on TV screens. They also have sports on other screens and a huge bar in the middle of it all.

There is also a sizable, covered outdoor space.

My mother and I go specifically for their Chicken Nachos - they're SO good!

There was a large group of seniors there for a special outing. The food they ordered looked so good and they told me that it was delicious and they had so much fun. It's a great idea to take people here for almost any special occasion, in my opinion.

“This was the worst experience we have ever had at this restaurant. We had reserved a round table at the back of the restaurant, which they gave to some other party just before we got there. They sat us at a long table next to the table I had reserved. The noise level was awful, we couldn't hear each other talk, as the people at the round table were so loud. Also the waitress had an attitude and did not bring us drinks when we asked for them. She never checked with us about anything we needed. The food was great as usual. But because of the issues with our reservation, we will NEVER go here again. We have always used this location before as we go there many times a year, but never again.“

“We stumbled upon Half & Half while searching for a place to get breakfast and stopped in with our 2 yo. Very cute interior with a friendly staff and delicious food. My wife absolutely loved her avocado toast with eggs and my breakfast sandwich was perfectly grilled. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes for our son who also chomped on my home fries and fresh fruit from my wife’s plate. The person who waited on us (the owner?) was exceptionally friendly and stopped off to talk through all of the various types of butter on the table (no, seriously, like four different kinds and all equally amazing!). We will definitely be back for lunch — and more butter.“

The sandwiches are like no other sandwiches. The focaccia is home made. The ingredients are fresh, seasonal and locally sourced. It’s not just a sandwich, it’s sandwich art!

There are some rules, such as no eating inside, but they enhance the experience: Davis Sq. is a delightful place to eat outside.

We have yet to eat every item on the menu, but nothing has disappointed so far. Excellent coffee and kombucha are also on offer.“

She was amazingly attentive and really made sure we were well satisfied with our place of seating, checking in making sure we had all our drinks and refreshments. AILISH was so great to us! If any MANAGERS are reading this I def have to tell you she is definitely a top-notch employee in Earls restaurant establishment. I came across Nine Elm and read the reviews. They were amazing. So we made a reservation but I was still cautiously optimistic. Things could not have gone better! We arrived and where we were seated was noising, not what we wanted for an anniversary dinner. When I asked the waitress if there was a quieter spot she went to speak to the manager in we were moved immediately. The general atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and the staff is very friendly but professional. The wine was lovely and the food delicious. We ordered the duck and the swordfish special and they were both cooked to perfection. For dessert we split a Creme Brule. The custard was light and creamy a pleasant surprise. We had an amazing time. We will be back!“

“I love the rustic decor. Last night was my first time there because I heard great things about it, I was not disappointed. The food was amazing and portions were huge. “My hubby is the manager at Antons cleaners next door to liberty and when I come in with him on early days etc etc, I always- I mean ALWAYS people!- get us liberty bell for lunch. It’s the best roast beef sandwich you can find and it’s consistently made the same way so you can expect that high quality with every order honestly. Their online ordering is smooth and simple and they’re super safe upon pickup and following any and every Covid precaution there is!
