Service was great, too—never had to ask for waters refilled, and our server even flagged us down when we nearly forgot our takeout. I have ordered from many Asian restaurants and so often the pictures and descriptions look amazing. However, once delivered and eaten, it was all good, but didn’t have the wow factor! I ordered four different dishes from this place and every single one had the wow factor, it was such an explosion of deliciousness in each and every bite! Do yourself a favor and get your Ginger Exchange on, soooooo yummy!“

Tip: get there early, right when they open, and you (hopefully) won’t be waiting in line.

We have offices in Japan, and we have had sushi all over the world, and this was so very very fresh. We took the bus all the way from Cambridge just to eat dinner here.

I had the Hamachi and the scallop and the Toro, all very reasonably priced and all very fresh. Really surprised at the price of the Toro, because it’s more expensive even in North Carolina! Great value for such a fresh fish.

Six dollars for a Sapporo and $11 for a carafe of hot sake was also a great deal.

We also tried the Buta Barra Kaku-ni (which was the Japanese raised pork belly). And it was outstanding! We have a lot of pork belly in the region where we live, and this interpretation of it was so tender. It just melted in your mouth!
We also tried the umaki, which was the egg and the eel combo. It was good, but I don’t think I would get that one again when there are so many other fabulous menu options. But I’m glad I tried it.

Great selection of sake as well.

“Everything we have had there has been TOP NOTCH. Dumplings (7 kinds and counting), noodles (5 kinds and counting), soups (3 kinds), and the scallion pancakes ( every time we go). We have been there on busy nights, slow nights and afternoons. We have eaten in and ordered takeaway. My daughter has ordered delivery. We keep co.ing back and ordering new things because all dishes have been quite extraordinary.

“Interesting sushi buffet. Very crowded, be prepared to wait to be seated. Once seated, if you select the buffet option, you then order from a list of offerings, standard sushi/sashimi fare. Trick is to account for the time between orders and keeping track of what you ordered so that you don't order too much, since they do charge a ka carte prices for items left over to discourage food waste. You have a 2 hrs time limit, but that's plenty of time. If you bring your appetite, you're in for a treat. If you didn't, then order from the menu. I'm an eater, so I highly recommend it.“
