“Other than the cafeteria being full on weekends, this place is my favorite. They cook very well and ingredients are fresh. I order the bento and the level of detail is phenomenal. this is the tastiest food I've ever had and will always be coming here as long as I'm alive. The prices keep going up so I hope they calm down. The best time to come is during the week.“

“We enjoyed the omakase dinner at Akame restaurant. The restaurant is ultra small, just 6 seats during each seating so there plenty of opportunities to chat with chef and watch him create our dinner. I enjoyed creative combinations of flavors and textures. I loved all the fish offering, however my favorite turned out to be the four gras served on crispy rice crispies topped with yuzu jam and chocolate. Heavenly!
The restaurant is hidden away in an alley off Mass ave. We parked right in front of it, but did not see it, because the only sign is a black writing on the door which we could not see due to reflections. For reference, it is next to Fruitee Yogurt, which has bright signage.“

“We come to Boston every 6 months, this restaurant is within walking distance of our hotel and our go to place. Such great food amd amazing service! We love our waiter Robin!“

“The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice, but the waitress with red hair, who wasn't Asian and was wearing a Harley Davidson bomber jacket, was very rude. She had a judgmental and unhelpful attitude while we were choosing our meals. She suddenly brought the check even though we didn't ask for it, as if she wanted us to leave.“
“Extraordinary dining experience, delightful and knowledgeable service, and great atmosphere. I am so pleased by the experience.“

“Service is extremely efficient, staff are friendly, dinner and lunch specials are a great price for the amount of food, the crunchy roll is so underrated. Overall great sushi spot. Tables are a little bit close together (it’s a smaller restaurant).“

“This was our second time dining at Ebi Sushi, and just like our first visit, everything was fantastic. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared every time. Our server, Amanda, was wonderful friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. It’s service like hers that really adds to the experience. Jose, the owner, has truly outdone himself with this place. You can tell he takes great pride in what he’s built from the quality of the dishes to the amazing team that brings it all together. We’ll definitely be back again before the new location opens, and we’re looking forward to visiting that one as well. Ebi Sushi has become one of our favorite date night spots consistently great food, great people, and a great vibe. 🍣❤️“

“This is my favorite sushi place, bar none. The food is a great value given the quantity and quality, and the customer service couldn't be better. They recognize me when I come to pick up lunch despite only going about once a month, and the staff is always so friendly. I recommend it to all my coworkers, and always look forward to my lunches from there.“

“Absolutely my favorite place for sushi when adding together freshness, service, and timeliness. After moving to Massachusetts from Florida, there has barely been any place with real flavor up here. After checking the reviews I saw this place might have some potential for a good price. It’s a small restaurant with a few tables, and the perfect hominess. We wanted to go out somewhere for Valentine’s Day with our baby, not somewhere too crowded considering she’s in her chaotic phase, and we went here. We got a maki party platter for us and a chicken teriyaki for the baby. It’s an adult portion so we decided to have something for her to have lunch and dinner with the next day. The sushi came out and it was so amazing and honestly super fast too. Then came the babies plate, it comes with a miso soup so we were able to get her to try it and she loved that. Then we cut up her food into bite size pieces and as we were preparing it, even though I personally hate chicken, it was SO FLAVORFUL!! We had to keep going back to her plate for tiny bites because it was delicious, the chicken was NOT dry and it felt so clean and refreshing each bite. Then when in regard to the service, WOW the waitress was absolutely the sweetest ever, was so interactive with our baby and attentive to us. Our new regular place for sure.“

“We got some good sushi rolls and for a very reasonable price, considering the area. I’m not entirely sure what the theme/aesthetic they are going for is in terms of interior decor but that doesn’t take away anything really. It’s a neighborhood joint so don’t expect a fine dining experience. But it’s good food, nice people, and decent prices. Will definitely go back!“

“Great food, appetizers and yakitori were a great combination going back and forth between great hot and cool food. I ordered the chicken skin yakitori, chicken karaage, and the waitress suggested the black caterpillar maki. If I lived here this would be an instant craving spot as I do want to try out everything in their menu.“

“Hungry after a delayed flight, my nine-year-old daughter and I walked to One Bite & Bar simply because it's close to our Airbnb, we wanted something fresh, and it maintains a good Yelp rating. It didn't disappoint.
The space is one large room with excellent service. To feed us both, we ordered the California, shrimp tempura, and mango avocado sushi. We also got the seaweed salad, miso soup, and egg drop soup. Everything was good and full of flavor.
Our entire bill was $35, which isn't bad flying in from an expensive city.“

“Our first time at Fins Sushi & Grill, and we were truly impressed from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxed, and the service was friendly, attentive, and spot-on throughout our visit.
The quality of the sushi really stood out—everything was incredibly fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. You can truly taste the care and quality in every bite. The menu offers a great variety, whether you’re craving classic rolls, creative specialties, or something hot off the grill, and the portions were generous with prompt service.
Overall, the experience exceeded our expectations. Delicious food, excellent service, and a place we’ll absolutely be returning to. If you’re looking for delicious sushi, great service, and a place you’ll want to come back to again and again, Fins Sushi & Grill is a must-visit. Highly recommend!“

“Came here twice and really enjoyed it! Food is delicious, servers are so kind, and it's so beautiful inside.
This place is really quiet, even on a Friday night, which is good for me, but this place needs more customers for sure!! Come & check this place out!“

“This was one of the BEST omakase experiences I have ever had. The attention to detail was extraordinary. I ate at several two and three star Michelin restaurants last summer in France and I was happier with my dining experience at Umami. The quality of ingredients is absolutely stellar and it is truly a treat for all the senses. Go!!“

“Great place for americanized sushi and jazz. We went with a group specifically to see some live music. Sushi was nothing crazy, but still good. I can't speak for every night, but the night we went in particular, the live music was amazing.“

“This is our 3rd time ordering from FUMI, the food is fantastic. The sizes of the bento boxes are generous, they are definitely two meals. The crab rangoon, spring rolls, scallion pancakes are excellent. The soup is delicious and the salad dressing is old school authentic. You are missing out on great food if you have not been.“

“When I saw the reviews for Wasabi at Porter I assumed they hired bots...
They did NOT hire bots.
They are THAT good!!!!!!!!
The food was amazing, and the tiny metal tray (for soy/wasabi) was a nice touch! This place deserves their 5-stars! New Customer = Regular Customer Now!“

“Boom, five stars across the board. They accidentally gave us more sushi than we asked for, which was awesome! Though we did offer to send it back for the kitchen to have. Regardless, the sushi was yummers and the chicken katsu came with a delectable curry dip thingy. Conveniently located near Ted’s bar or something I forget what it was called. Anyway, that’s all, Zach, one plate of sushi fuller, signing off!“

“Casual Pan-Asian kitchen with good chicken dishes.
Saw this place pop up recently on Highland Ave after Highland Pizza closed. It's a slightly unexpected spot for a Ginger Exchange, since most of their locations are clustered around college campuses, but it looked like they built this specific outpost primarily to serve as a high-volume delivery and takeout hub.
As usual, the menu here is massive. Covering almost everything from sushi to Korean and Thai dishes. The chain's owners also operate an internal ghost kitchen out of this same space called Bok Bok Chicken (not affiliated with the one over in Union Square). Most of the dishes we’ve tried so far were solid, but our favorites were their Thai chicken rice plates and the Korean chicken wings.“
