WE FINALLY WENT, THE MINUTE I WALKED IN THE PERSON AT CASHIER SAID WHEN YOUR READY TO ORDER YOU COME HERE, BLINDED BY IT AS IS A RESTAURANT NOT A FAST FOOD SPOT I LOOKED AT HER AND ASK FOR THE MENU SHE LOOKS AT ME AND POINTS INFRONT OF HER TO GO GET IT MIND YOU, THERE ARE 3 OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO WORK THERE .....I LET IT PASS AND TRIED TO GIVE THIS PLACE A SECOND CHANCE COMING BACK THE FOLLOWING WEEK AS THE FOOD ACTUALLY WAS GOOD THE WEEK PRIOR. WELL SERVICE WAS ONLY WORSE THIS TIME AROUND, THE WOMAN AT CASHIER LOOKED BOTHER BY JUST BEING THERE TAKING OUR ORDER AS THE TIME PRIOR OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO ALSO WORKED THERE STANDING JUST THERE. WE GET OUR FOOD REALIZING I GOT CORN TORTILLAS ASKED IF THEY CAN BE SWITCHED TO FLOURONE OF THE EMPLOYEES RESPONSE WELL IF YOU DON'T EAT THEM THERE GOING TO THE TRASH AND I AM LOOKING AT HER LIKE OKAY IS FINE CAN I PAY FOR AN EXTRA ORDER OF TORTILLAS OF FLOUR. “I recently had the pleasure of dining at Taco Azul and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

The moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the Owner Dan who made me feel instantly at home. Their genuine hospitality and attentiveness set the tone for the evening. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, checking in on us periodically without being intrusive.

Our server, Michelle was equally remarkable. She were knowledgeable about the menu, provided excellent recommendations, and exhibited an impeccable level of professionalism. They truly made me feel like valued guests, attending to every detail with a friendly and accommodating attitude.

And then there was the food — absolutely phenomenal! Every dish was a work of art, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The Quesa-steak were standout items that I can’t stop thinking about. The ingredients were fresh, and the balance of flavors showcased the skill and passion of the culinary team.

“When your breakfast just hits the spot & the nostalgia kicks in. Never disappointed when we come. Same timeless flavors today as they were 14 years ago. We have eaten here numerous times of the past 14 years Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. This location has very intimate seating for about 25 people. If your coming on the weekend expect a wait. Well worth it ! We have eaten everything on the menu and our most recent visit was for breakfast. Everything on the menu is delicious and flavorful! Orange juice is freshly squeezed and just like everything else , it's delicious. Service is amazing it's nice to see the same faces. Everytime we have come we never wait very long for our food to come out. My go to is the Centro Americano brings back so many memories from my childhood. The scrambled eggs with chorizo, the plátano maduro, queso fresco , avocado and the frijoles the tortillas Mmmmmmm. My husband always likes the Chilaquiles with green sauce. If you want traditional American breakfast they have that also. So this is a stop for everyone! Hope you get to enjoy a meal here and make memories like we do .“

“Great food but lately El Jefe's is taking a hit on bad reviews due to @GrubHub's poor ordering system with algorithm issues which I have brought to their attention, and seems they still haven't fixed since I placed an order months prior. On 3 separate occasions on the same date and time I received my order incorrect. When I compared the order from my GrubHub account against the receipt received from El Jefe's, it was determined I was missing many items from my burrito bowl. I contacted GrubHub in which they kept refunding me, and I also mentioned the issue. I ordered El Jefe's 2 more times and the same error occurred both times. I could see once they mess up the order due to reading it wrong but not 3x. El Jefe's only puts an order together based on the ordering slips they receive from GrubHub, so if something is off with GrubHub's ordering system that is what the restaurant is receiving and thus creating the order from. As much as these food delivery services are ripping off these restaurants, they got a nerve to make the restaurant take accountability for their mess ups and ordering errors. They're already scamming these vendors out of $$$ and continue to affect these companies in a negative manner. Time for these vendors to go back to the old delivery ways and cut the greedy middle man! These good delivery services are a total rip off with their high fees, whacked discounts that don't add up, and lack of customer service.“

“Cool place!! Frozen margs are on point! It’s always fun to find little speak easy spots - you enter through the cooler door! Also the street tacos are yummy- the rock shrimp tacos are my fav. It’s also quick and easy if you just want to stop for a quick bite!“

“When hunger struck towards the end of a lovely winter walk along the sunny beach, I decided to eat tacos for the first time in my life. Since a chain wasn't an option for me and Google Maps suggested the Tulum Taqueria, I didn't hesitate for long and entered the small but fine restaurant. The owner greeted me warmly with a warm smile and supported me with recommendations through my first taco order. The three tacos were each topped with different types of meat, vegetables and a green sauce (as recommended by the owner; unfortunately I could only remember “carnitas”).
And what can I say? The 4.8 stars are absolutely deserved. From the incredibly friendly owner, to the great location right on the beach, to the ultra-delicious food: everything was perfect. (I couldn't take photos of the food because I literally inhaled the tacos because I was so hungry. 😅)
So I have a clear recommendation, even for newcomers to Mexican cuisine.“
