“We go to R&V most of the times we visit Marion. This time I ordered takeout with my parents. I got the Buffalo chicken wrap which was very good. The Buffalo sauce has a big kick to it. My mom enjoyed her chicken bacon ranch salad. My dad got chicken fingers which he enjoyed but he said he remembered them being better in the past. Overall the food was very good and as usual we will be back!“

“We have been ordering from here since they opened. The food is usually great. Pizza is delicious. Never had any complaints until now. Ordered the chicken broccoli alfredo. It came with angel hair pasta( my fault bc maybe they gave the choice of angel hair or penne.) The chicken was shredded. Almost like from a can. The brocoli seemed shredded as well. The "garlic cream" sauce was non- existent. The dish was bland. That's putting it lightly. It was like they forgot to season it. The "creamy garlic sauce?" There was nothing creamy about it. It was watery and definitely had no hint of garlic. They need to come up with a new recipe bc this one isn't working. It was gross. Ended up throwing it away. Also,the fries need to be cooked more.“

“I got the super beef on The Onion Roll with barbecue sauce, provolone and onions. It has exceeded my expectations! I didn't eat it for a little while so that's why I wrapped it in my own foil to heat it back up. I also got jalapeno poppers and they are good for an appetizer! The star of the show is the Roast Beef though! My delivery was quick I ordered at 5:00 p.m. and it was here by like 5:30!“

“My boyfriend and I got takeout for the first time from Nick’s tonight, in honor of national pizza day. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. I’ve been wanting to find a really good Greek pizza nearby and this is it. The pizza sauce is sweet and delicious. Plus, they offer sliced linguica which I prefer over ground so that was a huge plus! Best pizza in Fairhaven/Mattapoisett area by far! We also shared an antipasto salad that was fresh with a nice house dressing. Highly recommend trying them if you haven’t already! “my apologies go out to the store. I guess I messed up putting in my order online. I guess you can give the driver one to five stars but I guess you can also do it before the guy gets there. So I guess I hit the one star, and the manager actually called or somebody did from the store. I had no idea I did it. They thought I put it in before the guy got here and I didn’t realize that it affects the employees at the store. So, pay attention to what you’re doing on the online stuff is what I learned and , this is always our go to place. So if you want good service, the delivery guys been here a few times he’s great. “Tonight, we spontaneously explored Ella’s Wood Fired Kitchen in Wareham, and I'm thrilled we did. Despite having no reservation, we were promptly seated in a cozy corner near the bar. Our server quickly attended to us, delivering refreshing waters and delightful traditional mules. The highlight was the special pomegranate margarita with reposado and pomegranate simple syrup – truly amazing. For starters, we indulged in fried pork ribs, a Caesar salad with exceptional homemade croutons that had a cheese filling and focaccia with garlic Parmesan oil dip. The generous slices of focaccia were a personal favorite and very easy to pull apart. Moving on to the main course, we savored Chicken Parm, TAGLIATELLE bolognese, the house special surf & turf with scallops, and the WOOD GRILLED NY STRIP OR 6 OZ. FILET MIGNON with smashed fingerlings, roasted onion, shishito peppers, horseradish crema, and chimichurri. The in-house-made pasta added a delightful touch, and the rave reviews for the special surf and turf almost led to a second helping. Unable to resist, we took home pizzas – margarita, three cheese pepperoni, and sausage ricotta. For dessert, we all enjoyed a pistachio toffee cake in a mason jar with pistachio gelato and dulce de leche sauce. The entire meal was a delight, and our server's kindness and excellent recommendations enhanced the experience. We're eagerly looking forward to returning, perhaps opting for seats at the bar next time. I also don't go to pizza places often since I make my own dough for my pizzas but my kids were annoying me and we were around the area. Staff was extremely kind and welcoming plus the pizza is really good. Places like this should be recognized. Keep up the great work.“

“I’ve never physically dined at Charlie’s but have gotten delivery a couple of times. My kids and I love their pizza.

I’m sure their other dishes are amazing. Their pizza is certainly delicious. I will say that I had an experience tonight with an unfamiliar delivery driver. I guess he knocked on my door several times before I finally heard him and when I opened the door to greet him he was seemingly agitated. I apologized for not having heard him as I was tending to my kids and he then plainly said “40 bucks”. I handed him the money, already knowing what it costed from prior orders- he rounded up, I digress. As I was shutting the door I heard him say “wow, that’s it?”

I was going to say something but chose to just let it go. Charlie’s is literally a two minute drive to where I live. I understand it’s the holidays however a lot of us are struggling financially and don’t necessarily have the means to be tipping big on a delivery (that was two minutes up the road). I just found it very inappropriate to make a remark like that quite loudly where he knew my door was still open. Like dude I’m just trying to feed my kids while I have some sort of stomach virus.

I did give a call in to let management know, call me a Karen, I don’t care. They were very apologetic and I appreciated that, I knew it wasn’t their fault and I usually would have just let it go but to be that bold about it was uncalled for.“

Carryout - they say your food will be ready in 15min - IT WILL BE READY IN 10 mins. Delivery - they will be on time and will keep your food warm - they do not mess up your orders as long as you are clear. This is a hands on owner operated ( not like the big franchises). when speaking and are giving them your full attention like they are to you. “Best hanger steak - the sauce was amazing. The green beans were perfectly cooked. Our server was a doll and right on top of things. This is definitely a local favourite for a reason. A slightly "older" vibe off season, felt like mostly retirees,and the place was packed at 5pm when they opened. We had a great dinner and we'll definitely be back.“

“Went to dinner tonight and this was my first time eating at this place. I sat at the bar and ordered a strawberry lemonade which was very good. I then ordered pizza with bacon and tomato. The pizza was very good the crust was nice and crispy which I love. It cost 14$ cuz i added bacon and tomato. Not a bad price. I do wish the bottom was cooked just a lil longer just to make it lil more crispy at the bottom.“
