Many trips with ed jr down the cape and he has always had a passion for cooking and we had many conversations about it on our trips back n forth from the cape! “Quahog Republic Waterfront Eatery in Onset, MA is now our top choice for seafood! Don't miss their signature Bloody Mary made with in-house mix. The raw platter, clam chowder with a stuffie, seafood bake, almond & cornflakes crusted haddock, & hot dog were all incredibly flavorful. Excellent service from Felicia too! We loved our dinner experience so much we went back the following day. The Bloody crafted by Salina was a highlight, paired with a pickle shot and pickle martini. Our meal began with chips & salsa, then a hot dog, cubano sandwich, and finished with a gigantic lobster roll - everything tasted great.“

“Had such a great time at Off the Hook until just before we left. We were enjoying the music and finishing a drink and all of a sudden we’re asked to leave our table and finish our drink at one of of the tables at the back. Have Never had that happen at a restaurant, no one was waiting for our table, we had just spent more than $200 and that’s how we are treated!!! So disappointing, no excuse and the manager really didn’t care. Would not recommend.“

Order & eat, no frills - or, like we typically do, just order take out. Good portions, reliably delicious fish & chips, reasonable prices. “This is officially our new favorite brunch spot! Food and service are truly amazing! Scott was our server this past weekend, and he made us feel like we’d been coming here for years. We got the zucchini fritter Benedict, a Belgium waffle with fresh berries and a breakfast burrito with sausage, home fries and fresh pico de gallo. The menu had a nice selection of Benedicts - We can’t wait to go back and try them all! The zucchini fritter and crispy prosciutto complimented each other perfectly, and inspired us to crisp up our own prosciutto. What a creative twist on an old classic! The waffle had the perfect amount of sweetness and the variety of fresh berries (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries) was a nice addition that gave it a little tartness. They added roasted red peppers to the breakfast burrito which really made it stand out, and we loved the fresh pico! The restaurant also has a full bar and lots of specialty brunch drinks. There is high-top seating at the bar area, as well as tables throughout the restaurant. We did not have to wait this past Sunday when we arrived at noon, but we were told it does get busy on the weekends, so there could be wait times. Prices were reasonable, which is rare nowadays, and the portions were generous. The quality and creativity of the dishes absolutely blew us away. This place is truly special! “Pretty awesome little stop. Got two fish and chips. The gentleman working there was pleasant and funny, like that quirky uncle you only see once a year at Thanksgiving.
Fish was cooked perfect, xtra thick filet, i didnt ask but i think it was cod, generous portion of fries.
Will be back to try out more of the menu and shakes.

“We hosted our baby shower at Travelers Alehouse today and we couldn't have picked a better location/caterer. The manager and owner were amazing with communication leading up to the event. The staff was incredibly thoughtful and helpful when it came to helping us setup the day-of. They never let my cup go empty and constantly checked in on how we were doing. Would easily recommend this venue to anyone and everyone. The food was unbelievably good, no surprise since their restaurant food is always top notch. The options of menus for the event is what truly pulled me in. Thank you so much to every single employee that had a hand in making today amazing for my husband and me. I can't say enough good things about this wonderful experience.“
