“Our group of 6 had dinner at 5:15 in the outside patio
We made reservations and were seated and waited on immediately. Food and drinks were all good.
We were less than halfway through our meal when the sun shone through the open area in the patio. It was extremely hot and very uncomfortable. As we looked around we noticed that several tables were affected.
It would be great if management installed sun screens on those open spaces to shade the area during the aforementioned time“

“We've been to many of the area's restaurants searching for the "1". From Providence to P Town and back again. I get veal parm at the Italian restaurants to compare. I was delighted last night when we tried Costa's! The pasta could have been cooked a little less but the veal parm and marinara sauce were truly delicious! Ate in the North End last week before a Bruins game. The veal parm at Costa's was so much better! Don't be put off by the decor. It's a casual place with great food and very good service. I watched the chef preparing the food and he is special! I really want to go back and sample the rest of the menu!“

“I really enjoyed my visit to this neighborhood spot. The food was classic comfort fare done right, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. “My wife and I were in the area and were looking for breakfast. We drove past and made a uturn. An old school diner? We needed to give it a try. I had an omelette and chili, and my wife had a short stack of pancakes. Everything waa a great example of damn good diner food. The chili was like a thick soup style basic chili full of flavor, the eggs and home fries were solid, and thr pancakes were light and fluffy with a good soft chew.
The waitress was a big part of the experience as well. We were there Saturday morning, and she had all the charm of a jokester on a roll. Friendly with everyone, easy to talk to, quick with both jokes and food. We didn't have to wait long for service or food.
Everything was fairly priced, we paid about $37 before tip, including soda and coffee. The only thing that was less than great, and only slightly at that, was that the air conditioning wasn't able to fully cool the place inside, so it was a little on the warm side. I have no doubt the glass windows facing the sun in almost 90 degree weather played a big part in that. It wasn't hot inside, just not fully cool. If the conditions were the same I would absolutely still go back. Worth a trip just for any one part of the experience, the experience as a whole was fantastic. Even the bathroom was clean.
If you're going on an adventure, start the day with breakfast here, or make this part of the journey, it won't disappoint!“

“I had a salad with seared scallops. The scallops were sweet and perfectly cooked and the salad was fresh. Always a good time with daily specials. Also like the half priced appetizers at the bar from 3-5 every day. All the bartenders and waitresses are friendly and responsive.“

“We have never had a bad meal from Sweet Gingers. I've only been ordering from them for about 6 years, but every time I'm always impressed with the quality of the food. The lo mein always tastes fresh, the veggies are cooked perfectly, the fried items are not greasy, and the portions are always sufficient. Since I tried Sweet Gingers, I have set a new standard for Chinese food. I will always recommend them to anyone in the area“

“Been visiting while in the area a few times and what a great find. Stopped in for some drinks and apps and everything has tasted great each time. Johnny always greets us and takes great care of us start to finish. Top of the line service which is hard to find these days. Plus the drinks are always perfect! We came back to try the hibachi and had another great experience. All the food was fresh and cooked perfectly and great portions as well. Highly recommend“

“Tried Santoros for the first time tonight since they changed hands. The food was fantastic, we are thrilled with the positive and much needed change!
