“Takeout joint that I've been going to for many years when I have a hankering for soul food/bbq. Smoked BBQ chicken, dry rub ribs, and brisket on Fridays. Usually order the beans, mac, greens and/or slaw for sides--and sweet potato pie. Both sweet and hot sauces are my favorite sauce anywhere, with a preference for the hot. Service at the counter can be a little disorganized, but just had a beautiful 1/2 chicken dinner delivered very quickly on a Saturday night. Very flavorful smoky chicken, not too salty or dried out as some bbq chicken can be. Out of many meals I had 1 chicken be a little dry, but that was only once. My favorite bbq in Boston. Much prefer it to Blue Ribbon.“
