“Came in on a weekday for lunch. Ordered Lunch Course ($27/person) with Set C meat and garlic spanish + fried dumplings and ice cream, together with 3 2--BBQ-items lunch combo ($14.95/each). There are parking garage nearby with plenty of space. The restaurant is big and have all the same chain quality of this restraint chains. The grill was not oiled and the first set of meats kept sticked to the metal grill, which is very unpleasant experience. However, one thing that is more disappointed is that they don't have green tea ice cream, one of the main reasons I ordered lunch course. This is not quite acceptable for a Japanese restaurant. They can only offered vanilla ice cream; however, the top was freezer burned. That put a bitter end to this visit, unfortunately.“

“Decided to walk through Allston on a grody, misty afternoon and look for some food. Walked in by chance and at my SO’s insistence that we give it a look. I loved everything about the aesthetic, and enjoyed the soft music playing in the background. Being able to choose the ingredients I wanted - knowing they were organic and that they looked more than delicious raw...that was the absolute best part. The gentleman at the front was supremely helpful and answered any question thrown at him - by anyone in the shop. The price was more than worth the amount of food received, and the care extended to us as guests was wonderful. I absolutely would recommend anyone to give this a try. “We stopped in just before 5pm on a Saturday and thankfully we did because the place got busy quickly. There was plenty of staff working to handle the night. One of us ordered a 2 meat tray with brisket & pork belly. The chosen sides were basement potato salad and Mac & cheese. The other ordered a pulled pork tray. Sides were coleslaw and Mac & cheese. Both had sweet tea and shared a bucket of biscuits w honey butter. The best part was the pulled pork. It was wicked moist and flavorful. I feel the brisket was a bit dry, but there are 3 sauces on the side. We loved the biscuits with honey butter and the Mac & cheese was good. Our meal came to about $77, before tip. The staff are mostly efficient but our waiter could have been better. He didn't ask what we wanted to drink when he greeted us, he wasn't very personable in comparison to another waiter who gave very detailed descriptions of the specials when speaking to a table next to us. We asked for a sweet tea refill and didn't get it. Seemed sporadic, but not new. We'd go back though to try it again.“

There is a seating area.. however it's hustle and bustle, kinda like a diner atmosphere.. eat quik kinda place , during rush hours..

“The food was great and the quality of meat was good. They also had several banchan available that was self-serve. Service was great - the food came out very quickly and they constantly changed the grill without us asking.

We were put in a private room (with one other table) which was nice since it was quieter. They also had an odor eliminator spray, hair ties, and other items at the front of the restaurant, which is considerate of them. Unfortunately, I didn't take a lot of pictures, but I'd come back again!“

“We usually go into the city to get our ribs, but a Google search revealed this establishment to us just in time. Upon arriving we were met with a warm welcome by the owners. After a brief conversation we ordered and went on our merry way (CHRISTmas Eve). The rest is history - the food was great and from now on this restaurant will be our go-to BBQ spot!“

“I love Brazilian steakhouses, but they’re usually a longish ride & expensive. At Feijo in my hometown of Stoughton, I may have missed the novelty of the gaucho service of bigger Churrascarias, but I was able to eat myself into a meat coma for less than 2/3 what I pay elsewhere without highway or city traffic. 😵‍💫 Had excellent spicy pork sausage, top sirloin, brisket, picanha, short ribs & lamb. Would have preferred the beef to be more rare, but it was still moist & tasty. Market bar is a bit small, but staples plantains, cheddar biscuits & black beans with stewed pork are there & are outstanding! At such a reasonable price & so close to home, this place could nicely fill my need for a big meal of meat.“

“It might sound strange to some, but I want to thank SGD for having some of the best rice in the area. A lot of restaurants go for cheaper rice options to save on costs. SGD using better quality rice really does elevate the meal, and helps it stand out among other Asian dining options. Thank you for this attention to detail!
